The Millennium Coastal Park is 10 miles of coastline on the Burry estuary between Burry Port and Llanelli and has views over the bay to the Gower Peninsula. The Coastal Park offers many attractive features including a continuous 11 km traffic-free cycle/footpath, the National Wetlands Centre for Wales, and a popular Championship Links Golf Course.

There are harbours at Burry Port and Pembrey and many things to do and see in the area including the Millennium Quay and the Discovery Centre. Llanelli has a proud Welsh history in both rugby and brewing being the home of the Felinfoel brewery and the Llanelli Scarlets rugby team.It also has a good shopping centre with a selection of high street shops.

There are plenty of places to visit within easy driving distance including the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Kidwelly Castle, Pembrey Country Park with 500 acres of parkland and the 8 miles of Cefn Sidan sands. Pembrey also has a motor racing circuit. Swansea and Carmarthen are both a short drive away and the Gower peninsula is within easy reach and has numerous beautiful beaches. Entrance is into the hallway and up 6 short flights of stairs to the third floor.
