Kingfisher Cottage. The sweeping tree lined drive leads to the delightful cottages nestling in this old country estate, but within easy driving distance to the beaches at Tenby, Pendine and Saundersfoot. Ffarmers is a small village set in the heart of rural Wales. This area of mid Wales is very beautiful and allows access to the towns of Llandovery and Llandeilo (20 minutes drive), Aberaeron (40 minutes) and Brecon and Carmarthen about an hour.

Lampeter, the smallest and oldest university town in Wales is just 8 miles away and has a rather cosmopolitan feel to it. The village pub, The Drovers Arms, owned by the community, is 10 minutes walk away and provides a warm welcome and good home cooked food.

A lovely detached cottage set in its own courtyard just a mile outside of the village of Laugharne and 8 from Carmarthen.  Laugharne is famous for it's association with Dylan Thomas and there are some interesting shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the magnificent Norman castle.  A little further down the coast you will find Pendine Sands with a 7 mile beach.  Aberglasney Gardens, the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Ffos Las racecourse are all within easy driving distance.
