This attractive cottage, the main part of which is nearly 300 years old, is tucked away along a short lane. The secluded grounds of about 3/4 of an acre are enclosed by trees, surrounded by pasture meadows, and provide a safe environment for families seeking a quiet holiday retreat. The Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire provide a backdrop to the views from the upstairs bedroom windows. Mwnt, a beautiful sandy National Trust beach, is just over a mile away, with access to superb coastal walks and many other coves and bays. The local wildlife, including the dolphins at Mwnt and a great variety of birds, butterflies and wild flowers, is a delight. In contrast, the busy market town of Cardigan is no more than 3 miles away and it is not much further along the Teifi Estuary to the interesting village of St Dogmaels. There are numerous local attractions, yet this stretch of coast remains relatively uncommercialised.

From the headland at Mwnt with its tiny Celtic church, dolphins, seals and choughs are a familiar sight. The adjacent rocky coastline is particularly popular for sea fishing. The bungalow is set among 20 acres of peaceful pasture land and guests are welcome to explore this and the surrounding beautiful countryside.
A wonderful view of the sea, right across Cardigan Bay, can be enjoyed from the rear of this carefully converted stone cottage, formerly a stable. The lovely sandy beach at Mwnt and the Cardigan Bay Coastal Path are approximately 10 minutes walk. Seals and dolphins are regularly sighted along this ruggedly beautiful coastline. The present owners, (four generations of whom have enjoyed holidays here), sometimes use the upper flat, which has a separate entrance.

Situated just three hundred yards from the lovely sandy beach at Llangrannog and the village stores, two pubs and restaurant, this three storey mill cottage retains, and was featured in a "Lovejoy" episode because of its character. The lovely terraced south-facing rear garden contains a variety of interesting plants and shrubs, and enjoys a pretty and relaxing aspect down towards the river which runs by the end of the garden. Garden furniture is provided. There are steep steps leading to the garden which unfortunately make it unsuitable for toddlers. Llangrannog is situated on the Cardigan Heritage Coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty with spectacular scenery and many Coastal Paths, where dolphins and seals are frequently seen from cliff tops or nearby boat trips. There is also a cliff top dry ski slope in Llangrannog.

The lodge provides superb spacious well appointed accommodation which is a treat at any time of the year. The beach has golden sands, its own waterfall and is flanked by dramatic cliffs. A coastal walk leads you to more sandy beaches at Aberporth, Llangrannog and Penbryn. The village provides an Inn which serves food, a village shop, beach stores.
Enjoying a lovely location just three quarters of a mile from the Ceredigion Heritage coastline Tresaith beach boasts golden sands and a waterfall. There are superb walks along the coastline passing caves and dramatic rock formations to Penbryn and Llangrannog beaches, you could be lucky enough to see the resident dolphins in Cardigan Bay. Nearby there are numerous visitor attractions for all ages from skiing on a dry slope to watching the butterflies at the local butterfly farm. Cardigan Town and Aberaeron are nearby and offer a range of individual shops and eating places. There is a pub which serves delicious food in the village.
