A Better Class of Property

Pembrokeshire Fishguard Bay - Cable Cottage - Sleeps 4

At Coast and Country Holidays, we have carefully built up a portfolio of cottages across Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire, Gwynedd and the Wye Valley to reflect our high standards. We have taken great time and trouble to identify exactly what type of cottages and in which locations, what standards and equipment and most importantly what prices make our customers want to holiday with us year after year.

Many of our guests return several times a year, sometimes for their main Summer holidays and again for out of season breaks. Our philosophy is driven by the desire for our customers to enjoy comfortable holidays, returning frequently and recommending us to their friends and family.

Highest Quality

Pembrokeshire Lampit Cove, Fishguard - Former Drill Hall - Sleeps 7

With Coast and Country Holidays you don't need to worry about standards - all our properties are inspected and graded by Visit Wales and our local team.

You can book with confidence safe in the knowledge that we are just as anxious, if not more so, that nothing should upset that well deserved break.

Our aim is to make you feel at home as soon as you enter our cottages. All properties are thoroughly cleaned and checked before occupation. The owner or caretaker may call on you after your arrival to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your property.

All year round bookings and enjoyment

Ceredigion Cross Inn, near New Quay - Converted Stone Barn - Sleeps 4

In Wales the time of peak demand and prices are July and August, therefore we suggest booking early whenever possible.

During the winter months and early spring you will find amazing offers helping make a second or third holiday an attractive proposition.

Many of our properties have log fires and central heating (included in the rental) which means that they are just as comfortable whatever the time of year you choose for your break or holiday.

Value for Money

Wye Valley Near Monmouth - Stone Tower - Sleeps 2

Our competitive rates encourage high repeat bookings and attract new holidaymakers. We are able to do this by achieving a much longer booking season on our properties.

It's very easy to make bold statements about quality and a lot harder to live up to them! However our high percentage of holidaymakers who return year after year can't be wrong! We believe that our high standards and sensible value for money prices deliver an unbeatable combination for an enjoyable holiday.

Personal Contact

Pembrokeshire Mynachlogddu, Heart of the Preseli Hills - Former shepherd's cottage - Sleeps 6

We consider personal contact with the owners of cottages and our holidaymakers as essential as actually taking the booking calls. We are always delighted to help with any queries and pride ourselves on having all the information you might ever need about each and every property.

You can call our experienced local team for additional information - they have personally visited many of our cottages. We continually add information to this website - new cottages, new articles about the area, new photographs.

Supporting Charities

We support a variety of charities and have supported Save the Children for over 20 years. The work of Save the Children began over 90 years ago, helping families living in poor mining areas of South Wales.

The organization has grown and is now internationally recognized as one of the leading aid agencies acorss the world. Today people often imagine that poverty only affects developing countries, sadly this is not true. In Wales and the UK many children still live in poverty with children growing up in families unable to afford the basics, like heating and decent meals.

Save the Children works around the world as well as at home, protecting the rights of children, working in emergency situations, providing education and a safer environment for children.

Recently one of our team was invited to go to Bangladesh to see first hand some of the work taking place there.

Over the last two years many of our guests have kindly made a donation to Save the Children when booking a holiday (unfortunately something many children will never experience).

Thanks to your generosity we have already raised and sent £11,000 to Save the Children to help with projects.

We have also supported the following local charities:
