The single storey cottage, originally part of the Wharf Master's house enjoys a fabulous position adjacent to the slipway into Porthmadog Harbour.

It is a busy little town on the Glaslyn Estuary on the edge of both the Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula. There is a wide variety of small, locally owned shops, a summer market, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. 

A walk along the cob is a must with views of the Snowdonia Mountains as well as the marina and harbour.  There are three heritage railways in the town and Portmeirion and Caernarfon are both worth a day trip. 

The Wharfhouse is renovated and furnished to a very high standard.
