Fishguard is a thriving seaside town with various galleries, restaurants; individual shops a modern leisure centre and a selection of pubs all with a few minutes walk. There are two harbours - the picturesque old fishing harbour at Lower Town and the Irish Ferry harbour at Goodwick. There is also a small beach at Goodwick backed by a play area for children and a sea school. Newport and St Davids are both a short drive away .....

The coastal bus (Strumble Shuttle) passes through the village daily and is incredibly useful for your return journey after a days walking.
Situated on a working sheep farm, this comfortable semi detached cottage is close to Oakwood and makes an excellent location for exploring all of Pembrokeshire. Nearby is Narberth, which is well worth a visit as it has a superb range of galleries and eateries. The county town of Haverfordwest with it's impressive castle dominating the landscape is also close by and boasts an excellent range of individual shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants and a riverside market with a Farmers Market every other Friday.
The cottage overlooks the village green, the pond and the very pretty church. There are walks directly from the cottages (2 miles) to Llys y Fran Country Park and Reservoir which has a 6.5 mile perimeter and offers the chance to hire mountain bikes for a ride or a loch style boat for a fishing trip; you can even bring your own sailing boat if you wish. The Preseli hills are nearby and offer some of Pembrokeshire's most beautiful and dramatic walking and scenery.
Fishguard Market Town is situated on the North Pembrokeshire coast and is filled with pretty colour washed cottages and houses. There are numerous safe beaches within a few minutes drive and a good selection of restaurants, galleries, shops and pubs in this seaside town.
Just three miles from the coast and situated in a quiet lane near to New Quay, this comfortable wing of the owners stone farmhouse makes a great holiday base. New Quay is famous for its resident dolphins and there are numerous boat trips from the harbour.
Nestled in a pretty wooded valley, this picturesque cottage offers comfortable accommodation in a convenient location ideally situated for exploring Pembrokeshire. Fishguard is just 2 miles away and has a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries as well as a small theatre/cinema and a leisure centre. St Davids is about a half hour drive away and makes an excellent day out.
Enjoying superb sea views over Newport Bay from the front of the property, this newly renovated Cart-house provides an ideal holiday location. The beaches at Parrog, Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod are just a few minutes away and the coastal path is easily accessed from this cottage. Newport has a good selection of pubs, village stores, restaurants and a golf club. The 'Walkers Bus' and regular service bus can be caught at the end of the lane. The larger beach of Traeth Mawr is approximately 2 miles away and has a lovely long stretch of silver sand with rock pools and cliffs. There are riding stables at the next farm which offer rides over the mountains and to the coast. The owner has made every effort to provide welcoming quality accommodation at this lovely spot. Fresh hot bread, cakes and 'ready meals' are available daily from the owners daughter in law .....

Situated in the Carmarthen countryside yet close to the Pembrokeshire National park and Ceredigion County (Cardigan), these two delightful barn conversions make a great base for touring. There are numerous beaches within about a half hour drive and many attractions including Oakwood, Heatherton, Pemberton's Chocolates, Laugharne Castle, the National Botanic Garden for Wales and Aberglasney Gardens, lost in time.
