Llanychaer - Stone Barn Enjoying a peaceful location with stunning views to the south and west at the western end of the Gwaun Valley, this renovated barn provides excellent accommodation. The owners have created nature trails throughout their 22 acre smallholding and invite you to wander as you please. Also in the grounds during the summer is a large games marquee equipped with full-size table-tennis table and other attractions. There are numerous coves and bays within a 10 minute drive and a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs are easily accessible. This property enjoys the same location as reference 421 and 422. All cottages extensively renovated and maintained in excellent state of decor. Telephone, fax, e-mail and computing facilities available on request. The owners have made every effort to ensure that you will enjoy the surrounding grounds by creating an idyllic nature trail and safe play areas. Nearby in the Gwaun Valley is "Bessie's Pub", where real ales are served from an enamel jug and you will receive a warm Welsh welcome. Adjacent to Refs 420 and 422. All properties have private patios facing the sun and have their own chairs and picnic table. Large mown playing field within grounds near to cottage (but not too near for noise to be a problem). Very safe, having no direct access to roads etc. Ideal for football, cricket, bike rides, frisbees, flying kites, tennis etc.

There is a selection of sandy beaches and secret smugglers coves, the Coastal Path with its dramatic scenery, sweeping wooded valleys, the Preseli Hills with their iron age fortresses, Neolithic burial chambers and an ever changing kaleidoscope of flora and fauna. Adjacent to properties reference 420 and 421. Grounds have grassy trails and tree-lined paths leading to picnic spots and viewpoints. Excellent walks in the Gwaun Valley (from 1/2hr - 2hrs plus) without having to take the car - ending up in the local pub.

The Gwaun Valley is beautiful at any time of the year and famous for The Dyffryn Arms, (a traditional front room pub) affectionately known as "Bessie's" where you can still be served real ale from an enamel jug. Nearby, Newport is a bustling seaside town with two beaches, numerous restaurants and individual shops. Fishguard is a larger town and is just 5 miles away. The Preseli Hills and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path make this an ideal base for walkers.
