Skomer is run by the
Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales and it is not only the largest Pembrokeshire Island, but also has the largest colony of
breeding seabirds in the UK.
It is famed for its puffins and Manx shearwaters and for being one of the best breeding grounds for seals (around 150 are born on the beaches each year)
Visitors can land and wander round the Island quite freely (on arrival, you will be given information on what to look for and where to go) or you can go on one of the guided tours.
