It is ideally placed as a starting point for walks along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and for exploration of surrounding areas, including St Davids and the Islands of Skomer and Ramsey. There are several pubs and restaurants in Solva which provide meals - seafood being very popular.
This character cottage is situated along a country lane surrounded by open countryside, and is an ideal central location for exploring the wealth of sandy beaches and rugged coastline on the beautiful Solva/St. Davids peninsula. There are many interesting boat trips to the offshore islands, where the Atlantic grey seal is sighted regularly and, nestling on the crevices of the cliff tops are the razorbills, kittiwakes and guillemots.

The cottage is an ideal location to explore the Solva, St Davids peninsula, where there are many sandy beaches and exhilarating walks along this spectacular coastline. Please bring your wellies to explore the farm and wetland, which has rare flowers, and adjoins the River Solva.
Just a five minute walk from the picturesque harbour of Solva, which has to be one of the most attractive places in all Pembrokeshire. In its heyday, as a busy port, you could sail directly to New York from this tiny harbour, hard to believe when you look at it now. This recently built semi-detached cottage enjoys a quiet spot away from the centre of the village, but within easy walking distance of the pubs, restaurants and galleries that make Solva so special. A delightful converted Malt House situated in 800 acres of farmland within the Pembrokeshire National Park. The owners have lovingly restored the original walled garden of just over a third of an acre, and planted it with a superb range of cottage garden plants. There is a tiny church just a few yards from the cottage making this a very appealing location for a relaxing holiday. The Coastal Path is just three miles away and offers over 186 miles of stunning scenery and walking.
Close to Solva and St Davids, the coastline along this stretch of the National Park is quite stunning and the coastal bus service for walkers can be caught just 2 minutes walk from the cottage. The harbour village of Solva has several pubs, restaurants and individual shops. St. Davids with its magnificent Cathedral is famous for being the smallest city in Wales. A day trip to one of the bird islands of Ramsey, Skomer or Skokholm is well worth the effort and at the right time of the year you can see literally thousands of puffins and shearwaters off Skomer.
Situated in the village of Roch just 1 mile from Newgale beach (a very popular surf beach with surfing hire and instruction available), 1 mile from Nolton Haven beach and within walking distance of the local shop, restaurant and pub, this is an ideal base for a holiday. The county town of Haverfordwest is 6 miles away and offers a suitable range of high street shops, banks etc. St Davids is 10 miles away and there are numerous coves, bays, beaches and walks to enjoy along the coastline. The coastline on the St Davids peninsula and around St Brides Bay is superb and the Coastal Path readily accessible at many points. There are opportunities to take a trip to the offshore islands of Ramsay, Skomer and Skokholm close by. Solva and St Davids have a good selection of pubs, restaurants and interesting galleries and shops.
Situated in a brand new courtyard of horse stables, this cottage provides very comfortable accommodation in a convenient location for exploring all of Pembrokeshire. Newgale beach is 10 minutes (3 miles) away and is good for surfing and walking. Solva Harbour is 6 miles and has a selection of shops, galleries and pubs which serve food. The owners keep their own horses at the stables as well as those of friends. There is also a pet grooming parlour so this would be a great location for any animal lover and dog-sitting is available.
Solva is a charming village set around a cosy harbour and with direct access to the Coastal Path. There are several pubs in the village (all of which serve food), a village store an excellent craft shop and galleries. In 1848 there was a passenger service from Solva Harbour to New York which could take up to 17 weeks and cost £3! St Davids (3m) is Britain's smallest city and well worth a visit to see the magnificent cathedral nesting in the valley. Newgale (4m) is an excellent surfing beach as is Whitesands beach (4m). The coastal bus service runs past the end of the road, making it a perfect base for walkers.
