Goodwick is a delightful village with a selection of restaurants, pubs and shops. The harbour has a small beach, the award-winning Ocean Lab and a wonderful breakwater, just the place to take a stroll in the sea air. You can also catch the ferry or the fast cat to Ireland for a day trip. Fishguard is just half a mile away, St Davids 14 miles and Strumble Head, one of the best places to spot dolphins and porpoise, five miles away. The 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is just minutes away from the apartment, another reason why it's a perfect base for a great holiday.
Situated close to one of the most beautiful stretches of the Pembrokeshire coastline at Strumble Head, this delightful cottage, part of the original farmhouse predating 1795, makes a perfect holiday base. Goodwick is just over 3 miles away and Fishguard a little further, both have a good selection of shops, galleries and places to eat. There are numerous beaches and coves along this stretch of the coast and it is a great place to dolphin and seal watch. Abermawr beach is about 2 miles and Strumble Head about 1. The cottage has recently been totally refurbished carefully and it retains its original character.
Nestling under Garnfawr, a huge rocky outcrop from the top of which you can see to St Davids, the Preseli hills and even Ireland on a very clear day. Strumble Head is stunningly beautiful and a great place for walking and watching wildlife. St Davids and Newport are within a half hour drive and well worth visiting. There are 186 miles of coastal path to enjoy and the coastal bus service passes close by. The Farmhouse dates back to 1795 and has been sympathetically restored.

The detached natural stone and colour washed cottage enjoys privacy and seclusion and makes an ideal retreat for those wishing to have a completely quiet break away from it all. In the garden there is a cedar summer house which is furnished with an upholstered cane suite and table.
Strumble Head is one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline in Pembrokeshire, the rugged coastline is the closest point to Ireland and there is easy access on to the 180-mile Coastal Path within easy walking distance of the cottage. The area is well-known as a haven for rare birds, wild flowers and seals, all can be seen from the observatory on the headland. There are a selection of beaches within a few minutes drive of the property with the smugglers coves of Abermawr and Aberbach being amongst the two nearest.The cottage has been beautifully restored and decorated to the highest standard with every modern convenience and a sympathetic eye to its origins.
A delightful whitewashed traditional Pembrokeshire cottage overlooking the sea and sheltering at the foot of a rocky outcrop. There are views of Strumble Head and Pwllderi and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path can be joined within a few minutes walk of the cottage. You may be lucky enough to see porpoises in Fishguard Bay, where they are a regular sight, and "Pwllderi sunsets" are really stunning. The cottage has been thoughtfully renovated retaining many interesting architectural features whilst providing all the modern day comforts that we expect.

The area is wonderful for walking with the stunning coastal scenery of the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coastal Path close by. The Strumble Shuttle (National Park bus service) will pick you up and drop you off outside the property (see link on our website) and take you along the coast enabling you to walk a different section of the path each day. Goodwick and Fishguard are both close by and have a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries. There is a riding stable within walking distance and the Irish Ferry sails from Fishguard to Rosslare daily.
Within walking distance of the sea at Parrog, Goodwick, this large semi detached cottage offers very spacious accommodation for families or groups of friends. The village of Goodwick has several nice eateries and 3 pubs and a few village shops. Fishguard is close-by and offers a larger selection of shops, galleries and a theatre. The Coastal Path is readily accessed from the property and there is a good bus service from Goodwick so you don't really need to have a car. The Irish Ferry, which makes a great day trip, is within walking distance and there are numerous attractions and places of interest to visit in the locality.
