Situated in the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park, this spacious detached farmhouse makes an ideal holiday retreat. Built from local stone over 200 years ago, it has been sympathetically renovated for modern living whilst still retaining much of its original character. It is set down a private country lane making it a peaceful getaway destination.

There are several beaches and access to the Coastal path all within a few minutes drive.

SECOND SITTING ROOM - has a massive inglenook fireplace with a logburning stove, furnished with traditional farmhouse furniture, sofa and easy chairs

DINING ROOM also has an inglenook, wooden laminate floor, a large dining table and chairs, CD player

LARGE BATHROOM on ground floor has a tiled floor, freestanding roll top bath with hand held shower attachment, wash hand basin and WC.

KITCHEN was originally the dairy and still has many traditional features that blend together and is well-equipped with kitchen units, automatic washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, large stainless steel range style cooker with gas hob electric oven, grill, warming oven and microwave oven.

FIRST FLOOR - MASTER BEDROOM - is very spacious and has an exquisite pine four poster double bed
SECOND BEDROOM - has twin beds 
THIRD BEDROOM - has a double bed 
FOURTH BEDROOM - is a smaller room with bunk beds suitable for children 
SHOWER ROOM - with WC and wash hand basin

A cot and highchair are supplied.
Bedlinen is provided for the beds which have duvets with additional throws for winter warmth.
There is FULL GAS central heating throughout which will be charged at £30 per week when required, all electricity will be charged for according to use.
Regrettably no pets. Towels available on request £3 per guest.  Large Orchard garden for children to play.

This Grade II listed stone cottage is situated in the coastal village of Trefin and is within walking distance of the historical ruins of the Old Mill at Aberfelin Cove.

Within a few minutes drive from the village is Traethllyn beach which has magnificent golden sands, which is owned and cared for by the National Trust.

This cottage is an ideal touring base with many sandy beaches and picturesque harbours to visit, as well as the smallest Cathedral City of St David's.

Accommodation

The cottage has been carefully renovated by the local owner who has retained its traditional character and pleasant atmosphere throughout.

The stable door opens into the hallway and into the attractive lounge diner which is spacious and full of character with open high beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors and features a spectacular stone chimney breast with multifuel stove, ideal for chilly evenings.

THE  LOUNGE -DINING ROOM is furnished with comfortable leather sofa, easy chairs, coffee table, grandfather clock, colour TV, video and CD Hi Fi system, the dining area contains a pine table with matching chairs and a pine Welsh dresser. The kitchen is the old part of the cottage and it features the original beamed ceiling and Simne Fawr (inglenook) with a royal blue Rayburn cooker (that runs the central heating and hot water).
THE KITCHEN is well-equipped with limed oak fitted units, terracotta-tiled floor, combination microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and automatic washer drier. The bathroom contains bath with overhead shower, wash hand basin and WC.

THE MASTER BEDROOM contains a pine four poster bed and is prettily draped with light green hangings, pine wardrobe and fitted dressing table.

BEDROOM 2  contains two pine single beds, with matching furniture. Pretty bedlinen is provided for the beds which all have duvets.

A travel cot and highchair are provided. All the rugs for the cottage have been made by the Woollen Mill close by. There is a small secluded lawned area in front of the cottage and a gravelled area to the side ideal for parking two cars. Garden furniture is provided. There is full gas central heating throughout the cottage and all gas and electricity is charged accordingly. Regrettably no pets. Towels available on request £3 per guest.

This beautifully converted granary is situated along a quiet country lane close to the village of St Ishmaels, on the stunning Dale peninsula. There are numerous coves and sandy beaches along this stretch of rugged coast and the Coastal Path (and coastal bus) are readily accessible. Monk Haven beach and the tiny church of St Ishmaels are just a short walk from the granary. Dale Beach (excellent sailing), Musselwick Sands (access from the Coastal Path), Martins Haven (boat trips to Skomer Island Nature Reserve) and Marloes Sands (superb crescent of golden sand with beautiful rocky outcrops and wonderful cliffs) are all close-by.

The granary has been converted with skill and imagination to enhance all its original character.

The front door opens into entrance hallway, there is a cloakroom with wash hand basin and WC. The spacious lounge has a gas fire and is comfortably furnished with settee, easy chairs, colour TV, video and items of occasional furniture. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped with fitted units, electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge (a second fridge is provided in the dining room), dishwasher, freezer, hostess trolley and automatic washer drier. The dining room is full of character with mellow stone walls, along with the massive inglenook containing a logburning stove (logs provided) and beamed ceilings to enhance the character of the barn, and a large farmhouse style table and chairs.

Upstairs there are three spacious bedrooms, all benefit from glorious views of the rolling countryside. The master bedroom, with en suite shower, wash hand basin and WC, is ideal as a family room, containing a double bed, single bed and a folding bed for occasional use. The second bedroom contains a double bed and vanity unit. The third bedroom contains twin beds and vanity unit.

Bedlinen is provided for the beds, which have duvets. A cot and highchair are provided. The bathroom contains a bath with overhead shower, wash hand basin and WC. There are night storage heaters throughout the property and electricity will be charged accordingly, gas is included in the rental. This attractive cottage, the main part of which is nearly 300 years old, is tucked away along a short lane. The secluded grounds of about 3/4 of an acre are enclosed by trees, surrounded by pasture meadows, and provide a safe environment for families seeking a quiet holiday retreat. The Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire provide a backdrop to the views from the upstairs bedroom windows. Mwnt, a beautiful sandy National Trust beach, is just over a mile away, with access to superb coastal walks and many other coves and bays. The local wildlife, including the dolphins at Mwnt and a great variety of birds, butterflies and wild flowers, is a delight. In contrast, the busy market town of Cardigan is no more than 3 miles away and it is not much further along the Teifi Estuary to the interesting village of St Dogmaels. There are numerous local attractions, yet this stretch of coast remains relatively uncommercialised.

The bathroom contains bath with electric shower, wash hand basin and WC. There is a tumble drier in the garage, this also has access to the cottage with a ramp for wheelchair users.

Electricity and oil for central heating are inclusive during the summer months, with a fixed rate of £30 p.wk from October to March. This is a non smoking property. A cot and highchair are provided. Well-behaved pets are welcome (2). Parking for one car on grass in front of cottage. Adjacent to property ref 358. Towels available on request - £3 per guest.  WiFi enabled.
