This delightful detached stone barn conversion makes a perfect romantic and welcoming retreat for those seeking to get away from it all. There are many interesting features throughout which add to the traditional character of this delightful cottage. The splendid rugged isolation of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is just a short walk away, as is the ornithological observatory at Strumble Head. There are stunning coastal views from the cottage towards Strumble Head and St Davids.
Entrance into hallway which leads up into the lounge/dining room which has whitewashed walls, beamed ceilings, logburning stove, two seater settee, comfortable chairs, items of solid oak occasional furniture, oak dining table and chairs, colour TV, Wifi internet, video and is attractively decorated with co-ordinating furnishings throughout. The kitchen has a quarry tiled floor, a range of fitted units incorporating a ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, separate small freezer and microwave oven. A washing machine and tumble drier are also provided. On your arrival a welcoming hamper containing wine and local Welsh produce will be provided by the owners. The bathroom has a slate tiled floor with underfloor heating and a white suite of whirlpool bath, overhead power shower, WC and wash hand basin, there is also a heated towel rail. All towels, bedlinen and first basket of logs are provided. Further logs can be purchased from the owner at £4 per basket. The stairs from the lounge lead to the bedroom which has a kingsize bed with pretty bedlinen, bedroom furniture, colour TV and sea views. A door from the kitchen leads to the secluded private patio which has garden furniture and barbecue. Steps lead to the grassed and bordered garden where stunning coastal views can be enjoyed. A Z-bed is available for occasional use as is a cot and highchair. Ample parking. Night store heating. Electricity charged at £25 per week from May to September and £35.00 per week from October to April. Sorry no pets.
