Situated on the St Davids peninsula in the pleasant hamlet of Square and Compass, which is a perfect location to explore the rugged coastline and excellent selection of sandy beaches which are all are within easy driving distance from this large detached house. Abereiddy, Porthgain, Trethllyn, Abercastle and Whitesands bay to name a few, are very popular for all water sports. This substantial property is conveniently located to the local shop, garage and pub. The local owners offer to arrange grocery deliveries on your arrival.
The house is ideal for large families or groups of friends wishing to share a holiday.
The front door opens into the hallway which leads into the comfortable lounge, featuring a stone fire place with a multi-fuel stove (ideal for autumn evenings,) the lounge is comfortably furnished with sofas, easy chairs, colour TV, DVD and items of occasional furniture. Glass folding doors open from the lounge into the dining room which over looks the back garden, the dining room is furnished with a large dining table with matching chairs and seat all the family, these two rooms can be used separately or as one. There is also a quiet reading lounge where one can sit in the evening and relax after a day out walking along the Coastal Path, this room is tastefully furnished with comfortable easy chairs and well stocked book shelf.
The kitchen is spacious and extremely well equipped with a range of wooden units, electric range style cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer.
The games room complete with pub sized pool table and exercise bike also houses the automatic washing, tumble drier, and holiday paraphernalia. The utility area opens into the rear garden and also contains ground floor shower cubicle and a separate WC.
Upstairs there are five good sized bedrooms; the front bedrooms benefit from delightful sea views from Strumble Head down towards Penberry.
The rear bedrooms enjoy views of the rolling countryside. The master and second bedroom each contain a king size beds, fitted wardrobes and bedside tables,
The third and fourth bedrooms contain twin beds with matching furniture, the fifth bedroom also contains twin beds and benefits from the convenience of an en suite shower room with corner shower cubicle and electric shower, pedestal wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
The family bathroom contains bath, shower over bath wash hand basin and WC.
Pretty bed linen is provided for all the beds which have duvets. Towels are available at £3 per guest.
A travel cot and high chair are provided. Two well behaved pets are welcome.
There is oil central heating throughout the house, this is charged at a flat rate of £35 perweek - please pay owner. Electricity is included. There is a small well tended lawn with mature shrubs at the front of the property and to the rear there is a walled garden with lawn and patio with garden furniture this is south facing making an ideal suntrap. Beyond this is a half acre of enclosed paddock, ideal for ball games.
There is ample parking for 3 cars on the tarmac drive.
