Set in 5 acres of gardens between Nevern and Newport, this very comfortable first floor apartment offers an excellent holiday base for exploring North Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. There are magnificent views of Carningli Mountain, Newport Bay and Dinas Head from the property. Newport is about a mile and a half away and has a selection of pubs and restaurants; the large sandy beach is about 3 miles. Nevern is about a mile and has a riverside pub, Celtic cross and historic church. There are lots of footpaths to walk in the area or you can just explore the gardens and woodland.
A flight of external stairs leads to the apartment. Entrance is into the open plan kitchen/dining and sitting room which has a triple aspect with great views and is attractively furnished and well equipped. The kitchen area has a range of fitted units incorporating an electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and a microwave oven. There is a utility room (occasionally shared) downstairs with a washing machine, tumble dryer, extra fridge and freezer space and drying rails for wet coats etc. The dining area has a table and 4 chairs. The sitting area has a comfy sofa, 2 tub chairs, TV, DVD, occasional tables and a CD/radio/MP3 player. There are two bedrooms, both with mountain and sea views. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, built in wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom 2 is furnished with twin beds, bedside tables, built in wardrobe and dressing table. There is another small box room which is useful for storing suitcases etc. The bathroom has a modern white suite of bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin. All the beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival. Towels are available to hire at £3 per guest. No baby equipment available; the property is not ideal for young children due to the external staircase, pond and extensive grounds. 1 well behaved dog by prior agreement with the owner. No smoking in the property. There is oil fired heating. Heating and electricity are included in the rental form May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £25 per week at all other times, please pay owner. There is a parking space in front of the property. The wonderful 5 acre grounds include areas of woodland, a stream and pond, lawn areas and an abundance of well established shrubs and borders to please any gardener. A sturdy picnic bench is provided on the patio area at the foot of the staircase, there are numerous other seating areas around the garden where one can just sit and enjoy this lovely spot.
