Aberaeron is a wonderful colourful Georgian seaside town in Cardigan Bay. The attractive harbour has an array of fishing and pleasure boats and you can sit and eat Welsh honey ice cream on the harbour wall or admire the stunning views of New Quay. The beach, restaurants, pubs and shops are all within a 5 minute walk of the house. Dolphins spotting or fishing trips can be taken from the harbour. The town is famous for its festival of Welsh Cobs and the award winning Harbourmaster Inn.
This well proportioned property is situated in a terrace at the southern end of the town. Entrance is into the hallway and through to the kitchen which has a slate floor and a range of oak fitted units incorporating a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave oven and a breakfast table with 4 chairs. Outside the backdoor there is a utility outhouse which has a sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and a freezer. There is a separate room with an outside WC. The shuttered dining room has a splendid oak refectory style table with 8 contemporary chairs and a sideboard. The shuttered sitting room has a contemporary gas fire in slate surround, large sofa, 2 armchairs, beanbags, flat screen TV, DVD and DVDs, Music system with iPod dock, occasional furniture. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom and bedroom 2 each have a king size oak bed, bedside cabinets and chest with mirror, small built in hanging space and sea views over the rooftops. Bedroom 3 has a single bed with a second truckle bed under, bedside cabinet and hanging space in the small wardrobe (where the boiler is also situated). The 4th bedroom has a set of short bunk beds (5'3") which are only suitable for little people, bedside chest and hanging space. The bathroom has a suite of bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin. Bed linen is provided for all the beds. Towels may be hired for £3 per guest. No baby equipment is available. One small well behaved pet is welcome but has to sleep in the kitchen. No smoking in the property. Oil central heating is included from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £25 per week at all other times. There are usually 2 parking spaces on the roadside outside the house. There is a steep garden to the rear of the house accessed by uneven steps to a small level patio area with table and chairs and a further orchard area and sloped grass beyond. Right at the top of the garden you can enjoy a lovely view over Aberaeron and Cardigan Bay.
