Recently refurbished and redecorated, this very comfortable holiday home makes an ideal base to explore this beautiful part of the world. Llangrannog has a lovely sandy beach, rocky headlands and dramatic coastline walks, two good pubs, two great cafes and a well equipped shop. Yr Odyn is at the top of the village in a secluded spot, just 10 minutes walk from the beach; it's a great place for a family holiday or a quiet place to relax. The nearby Urdd centre has a dry ski slope and there are plenty of attractions for all ages and tastes in the surrounding area. The seaside towns of New Quay and Aberaeron lie a little further north and Aberporth and Cardigan just a few miles south.
Entrance to the house is a large boot room and lobby area which is ideal for storing all your holiday paraphernalia. This leads to the kitchen and dining room, which in turn leads to the play area and round to the sitting room. The kitchen has a basic range of units, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a microwave oven. The dining area has a dining table with seating for six. There is a sitting area, furnished with a sofa/futon, and a low table; this is an ideal space for reading or playing one of the many games provided for your enjoyment. The main sitting room has a woodburning stove, 2 sofas, 2 armchairs, a Welsh dresser, TV and DVD. Go up a couple of steps to the three bedrooms and bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedside chests and clothes hanging space. Bedroom 2 also has a double bed, chest of drawers and clothes hanging space. Bedroom 3 has twin 2'6" beds (suitable for children only), a chest of drawers and clothes hanging space. There is a newly fitted bathroom with a bath, large shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. There is also a separate WC with wash hand basin. Outside you'll find a warm shower for washing sandy bodies and wetsuits! Bed linen is provided for all the beds. Towels are available for hire at £3 per guest. A cot and highchair are available on request. One well behaved pet welcome, but only in the boot room please. No smoking in the cottage. There is oil central heating, with radiators throughout the house, this is charged at £40 a week/mid-week break or £20 for a weekend. Please request, prior to arrival, if you would like the heating switched on. For the log burner, an initial basket of logs is supplied; thereafter each basket is £5. Please leave payment for logs and central heating at the property. There is parking space for 2 cars and a boat on the private drive. The garden area is sunny and has a small lawned area and a patio with a table and chairs. The garden area is gated at either end so safe for most children and animals.
