Situated in a quiet rural hamlet two miles East of Pembroke Town and within easy reach of Tenby, this comfortable and atmospheric end of terrace traditional Pembrokeshire cottage offers elegant and well-equipped accommodation and is perfectly positioned for easy access to some of the most stunning beaches on Pembrokeshire's spectacular National Park Coastline, including the picture postcard perfection of Barafundle Bay and Broad Haven South. Both of these beaches feature perfect soft sand, very safe bathing and idyllic settings. The many other interesting visitor attractions close to the cottage include the mighty and impressively preserved Castles at Pembroke and Manorbier; whilst one mile east, in the tranquil and beautiful surroundings of the upper reaches of the Cleddau River, the Castle, Celtic Cross and tidal mill at Carew, comprise one of the most picturesque settings in the country.

Accommodation

Entrance into large open-plan kitchen / dining and living room which is spacious, has an open beamed ceiling, wood floor and is furnished in a country style with attractive furniture, creating a relaxed, uncluttered and stylish atmosphere. The main lounge area has two large and comfortable three seater sofas, items of antique pine furniture, colour TV with DVD, Radio CD player and a woodburning stove. There is a second, more casual, seating area with an open fireplace. The dining area has an antique pine dining table and 6 chairs. The kitchen area has a range of fitted cupboards with a hardwood worktop; full sized electric cooker, fridge with separate freezer compartment, microwave oven and an automatic washing machine. There are three bedrooms upstairs. Bedroom one has a kingsize bed, wardrobe and bedside tables. Bedroom 2 has a set of children's bunk beds. Bedroom 3 has twin divan beds, wardrobe and bedside tables. All the bedrooms enjoy rural views over the country garden and beyond. The beds all have duvets and will be made up with fresh bedlinen for your arrival. Downstairs shower room with shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. A cot, highchair, baby bath and stair gate are available on request. There are night storage and panel heaters throughout the cottage; electricity is included in the rental from May to September inclusive, at all other times a charge of £40 per week (payable directly to the owner) will be made. A free basket of logs for the stove is provided to start you off, thereafter available in the local shop. There is a small walled forecourt to the front of the cottage and a south facing patio to the rear with three steps leading to a gently sloped lawn and well stocked cottage garden, which is enclosed for children. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided. Parking for one car in the garage and for one more on the roadside. Sorry, no pets at this property. Towels available on request - £3 per guest.
