Situated less than a mile from the beautiful child friendly Newport Sands and an 18 hole golf course, this renovated Welsh cottage on one level with its secluded lawned garden has much to offer. It is to be found just two miles from Newport village set in a rural location in a hamlet of three cottages. For walkers there is the scenic coastal path (the Poppit Rocket coastal walkers bus passes the cottage) and Carn Ingli to climb for the more energetic.  Newport has an excellent range of eateries, pubs, galleries and shops. 

Accommodation

Entrance into an outer porch and through to the sitting and dining room which has exposed stone and whitewashed walls and is packed full of character. There is a large inglenook fireplace where you can light a real log fire or use the electric fire for summer months. The Dining area has a dining table and 6 chairs, pine dresser and occasional furniture. The sitting area has an open beamed ceiling, comfy sofa and armchairs and an antique rocking chair, colour TV, portable CD/Hi Fi and occasional furniture. There is a galleried area, which for safety purposes is not accessible but makes a lovely feature to the room. The kitchen is well-equipped with a range of light oak fitted units, large pine dresser with plenty of storage space, breakfast table and chairs, full sized cooker, microwave oven and dishwasher. Also a fridge/freezer, automatic washing machine and tumble drier in the rear utility room. There are three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe and bedside table. Bedroom 3 has a single bed, dressing table, chest of drawers, bespoke wardrobe and bedside table. All beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival. The bathroom has a bath with overhead electric shower and wash hand basin. The WC is adjacent. There is a lovely lawned garden and patio area to the rear with garden furniture, it is enclosed but not totally dog proof. Up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome. There is a children's climbing frame in the garden (used at your own risk).  Ample parking to the fore. There is full oil fired central heating throughout the property. Oil is charged for at a flat rate of £35 per week from October to April inclusive. Electricity is charged according to use. A travel cot and highchair are available.  Towels are available on request - £3 per guest.
