Welsh Coast and Country Cottages
Rosebush is a traditional Welsh village in the heart of the Preseli Hills with a wonderful history: If you visit it today, the peace and tranquillity of the scenery surrounding this delightful detached cottage will immediately make you feel at home. The location is ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire with an abundance of beaches and coves within driving distance. Llys y Fran Country Park offers fishing, boating, walking and cycling. Nearby in Maenclochog is a massive stone-circle over 70 feet in diameter. The cottage is also within walking distance of the traditional Tafarn Sinc pub and restaurant, with a warm Welsh welcome, and another good restaurant at the Old Post Office.
Entrance into hallway and through to the spacious kitchen, recently refitted to a high standard, with a tiled floor, a range of fitted units with granite worksurfaces including a breakfast bar and incorporating dual fuel oven plus 7-ring gas hob, Belfast sink, dishwasher and fridge.
There is an automatic washing machine, tumble drier, kitchen cupboards, and a sink in the utility room. Also in the utility room is a shower cubicle with electric shower and a separate WC with wash hand basin. There is a freezer in the hallway, under the stairs. Steps lead from the kitchen to the light and airy sitting room which has a high open beamed ceiling, polished pine floorboards, an oil fired stove, three comfortable sofas and an armchair, occasional furniture, sophisticated Hi Fi system, and a 46" flat screen TV linked via 'magic eye' to Sky TV. French doors lead to the garden. The dining room has an open fireplace, polished pine floorboards, dining table with 6 chairs, comfortable sofa, 40" LCD TV serviced by Sky dish. Double doors lead to the large decked area. There is one bedroom downstairs furnished with 3' bunk beds, chest of drawers and hanging pegs. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a kingsize bedstead, bedside tables, hanging space, and exposed beamed ceilings. Bedroom 3 has a kingsize drawer divan bed, hanging space, chest of drawers, and bedside tables. The bathroom has a white suite of bath, WC and wash hand basin. Wooden garden furniture, a large patio heater (which is stored in the shed) and barbecue on the spacious decked area that has steps to the lawn with views of the lake and hills beyond. Up to 2 well-behaved pets are welcome. A travel cot, highchair and stair gate are available. Ample off road parking for 3 cars. There is full oil fired central heating throughout the cottage. Fuel is charged from October to April inclusive at a rate of £20 per week. Towels included.
