The sweeping tree lined drive leads to the delightful cottages nestling in this old country estate, but within easy driving distance to the beaches at Tenby, Pendine and Saundersfoot. The cottage is set in a large traditional courtyard and guests are welcome to enjoy the extensive grounds. The cottage has lovely views over the owner's private lake and the spectacular scenery of the surrounding countryside. You are even welcomed by the owners to fish for a trout in the lake, there is a small charge for this. Carmarthenshire is steeped in some of Wales' most famous history with kings, castles and legends abounding in this beautiful county. The cottages are ideally situated for touring and exploring Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.  Wireless broadband enabled.

Accommodation

Entrance from courtyard into open-plan Living and Dining room that has exposed beams, natural stonework and a tiled floor. The sitting area is furnished with comfortable sofas, colour TV, DVD, video and occasional furniture. The dining area has a dining table and 6 chairs. The kitchen is down a few steps and is well fitted with a range of light oak units, integral electric hob and oven, dishwasher, automatic washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven and a breakfast bar with 2 stools. There are views of the lake and over the hills through the patio doors, which also lead to the patio area. There are three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a pine double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 has pine twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 3 has 3' pine bunk beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. All the beds will be made up with fresh bedlinen for your arrival. The bathroom contains a suite of bath, overhead electric shower, WC and wash hand basin. A standard cot and highchair are available on request. Up to two well-behaved pets are welcome. There is full oil fired central heating throughout the property and this is included in the rental. The property is wi fi enabled. To the rear of the cottage is a lovely patio area with grassed and paved areas, and garden furniture, a portable barbecue is available. Ample parking. Towels available on request - £3 per guest.
