A delightful stone barn conversion with a HOT TUB and a mezzanine bedroom, this cottage provides very comfortable accommodation at any time of the year. Situated between Aberaeron and New Quay close to the Ceredigion Heritage coastline, there is a selection of clean beaches including Cwmtudu, New Quay, Tresaith and Penbryn close by. There are several good places to eat within a 5 mile radius of the cottage and numerous visitor attractions including Honey Farm, Bird of Prey centre, Coracle Centre, Cheese farm, Mills and a Steam Railway. Ideal for couples and small families.

Accommodation

Entrance into porch and through to the open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room. The room has an exposed vaulted and beamed ceiling. The kitchen area has a range of fitted units with halogen hob, electric oven, refrigerator with icebox, microwave oven and washing machine. The dining area has a pine dining table and 4 chairs. The lounge area is underneath the mezzanine bedroom and has a woodburning stove (first basket of logs included during winter months). It is furnished with a comfortable sofa and chair, occasional furniture, colour TV, DVD and a good selection of books and games. This room has a double aspect over the owners' landscaped gardens and affords access via French doors to a patio with table, chairs and bench. A staircase leads to the mezzanine bedroom from the dining area, furnished with a double bed, hanging space, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Bedroom two is on the ground floor and has twin pine beds, pine wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bedside table. Bedlinen, duvets and towels are included. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath (with handrails), overhead shower, WC and wash hand basin. The owners welcome you to explore the 35 acres of land that surround the cottage with streams, ponds and bridleways. There are free range ducks, geese, turkeys and chickens. Self livery is available, please ask. One or two well-behaved pets welcome by arrangement. Not suitable for children under 8 as there are steep aspects to the grounds with streams, ponds etc. No smoking. Electricity is included. Full oil fired central heating is charged at a flat rate of £30 per week from October to April inclusive. Ample parking.
