Rolling countryside surrounds this lovely converted cowshed which is situated on a working farm in the heart of Ceredigion. It is just a mile from Lampeter (which has a good selection of shops and pubs) and 8 miles from the beach at Aberaeron and New Quay where dolphins are spotted on a daily basis. There are numerous places to visit within easy driving distance including Llanerchaeron, Devil's Bridge, Dolaucothi gold mines and the Rheidol and Teifi Valley railways. This cottage has been renovated to the very highest standards and provides every home comfort you could think of and a few more besides! The Davies family will provide a warm Welsh welcome you won't forget.

Accommodation

The entrance is into the sitting room which has an oak floor, a large stone and oak fireplace with woodburning stove and an impressive oak staircase leading off. The sitting room is furnished with comfortable crimson and gold sofas, easy chair, oak dresser, occasional furniture, a colour TV, DVD player and a selection of books and games. The long kitchen and dining room is well fitted with a range of ash wood units incorporating and electric cooker with halogen hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine/tumble drier, microwave oven and plenty of working space. The dining area has a long table with 6 chairs. There is a drying room off the dining area which is ideal for walking boots, damp dogs etc. There are two spacious en suite bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is downstairs and has twin beds, oak bedroom furniture including chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside tables. The en suite shower room has the benefit of a superb shower/sauna/steam cabinet, WC and wash hand basin. Upstairs there is a large family bedroom with a kingsize bed and a set of 3' bunk beds. The en suite bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath, WC and wash hand basin. Towels and bedlinen are provided as is a welcoming Welsh tea tray. A travel cot, highchair and stair gate are available. There is full oil fired central heating throughout the cottage, this is included in the rental from May to September inclusive and charged at a flat rate of £25 per week at all other times. A basket of logs is provided, thereafter available from the owner at cost. No smoking in the cottage. There is a shared patio with the adjacent cottage (ref 830) and a play area with swings and a trampoline. The farmer will allow games of football in the fields subject to crops. One small well-behaved pet is welcome but must be kept on a lead as this is a working farm. Please note that pets are not allowed upstairs. Playroom available with pool table and table tennis. An extra put-u-up bed is available for occasional use.
