Within ten minutes walk of two sandy, sheltered beaches at Aberporth, this spacious link-detached house with great sea views and in a quiet residential area makes an excellent holiday destination. Rock pools are exposed at low tide and red kites, buzzards and dolphins can often be seen in and around Aberporth Bay. Ceredigion's Heritage Coastline is absolutely breathtaking and the other coastal villages of Tresaith, New Quay and Llangrannog are within easy reach. The village has 3 pubs, a beach cafe, Chinese takeaway/chip shop and a village store. The accommodation is very well appointed and all rooms at the front of the house have sea views.
Entrance is into the glazed porch and through to the main hallway. The kitchen has a range of fitted units incorporating a dishwasher, extra large fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave oven, washing machine and tumble drier. There is also a small breakfast table and stools. The spacious dining and sitting room is light and airy. The dining area has a large extending dining table with 12 chairs and a bookcase with a good selection of books and games, a glazed door leads to the patio area. The sitting area has three comfortable sofas, colour TV with DVD and occasional furniture. There is a further small sitting room with a futon sofa that converts to a double sprung mattress bed for occasional use, colour TV, DVD and a selection of children's toys, games and books. The ground floor bathroom has a white suite of bath with shower attachment, WC and wash hand basin. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a sea view and is furnished with a kingsize iron bedstead, built in wardrobe, oak bedside tables and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 also has superb sea views and is furnished with a pine double bed and matching wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and oak bedroom furniture. Bedroom 4 has a set of 3' bunk beds and a tallboy. Beds will be made up with fresh linen and towels are available at a cost per guest of £3. A travel cot, highchair and two stair gates are available. The shower room has a shower cubicle with multi jet shower (with radio), WC and wash hand basin. No pets and no smoking in the cottage. There is oil fired central heating throughout, this is included in the rental from May to September inclusive and charged at a flat rate of £30 at all other times. There is a lawned garden to the fore and an enclosed garden to the rear with steps leading to a landscaped area and a large patio outside the dining room with garden furniture and a barbecue. There are parking spaces for 3 cars on the drive and more on the roadside.
