It is also close to Pwllgwaelod beach, from where one can walk around the spectacular Dinas Island headland to the little beach at Cwm Yr Eglwys.  For those who prefer hill walking, the heart of the Preseli Hills with their famous blue stones is just a few minutes drive away.
