Golden Grove village with its historic mansion and deer park is about 1 mile from the cottages and Llandeilo, the ancient market town, is about three and a half miles.Llandeilo is situated in the heart of the Towy Valley and has an interesting selection of individual shops, galleries and eateries.You can also enjoy a fabulous woodland walk straight from the front door or explore one of the many castles in the area.
Carmarthenshire is known as the Garden of Wales and the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney (a garden lost in time) are just over 2 miles away.There is superb fishing in the area too with the river Towy providing excellent Salmon and Sewin (sea trout) fishing, whilst for those more active the cottages are located between several excellent mountain bike trails.
For nature lovers, the area abounds with wildlife, with red kites, owls, badgers and deer regularly seen from the barns.The Gower Peninsular has some wonderful beaches with great surfing, including Three Cliffs Bay which is less than 25 miles away.The Black Mountain and Brecon Beacons National Park (which is viewable from the gardens) make an excellent day trip.
This really is a great location for exploring West Wales and these charming, well appointed cottages make an ideal base.



A lovely detached cottage set in its own courtyard just a mile outside of the village of Laugharne and 8 from Carmarthen. Laugharne is famous for it's association with Dylan Thomas and there are some interesting shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the magnificent Norman castle.
A little further down the coast you will find Pendine Sands with a 7 mile beach. Aberglasney Gardens, the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Ffos Las racecourse are all within easy driving distance.

This spacious and comfortable barn conversion is in the heart of St Florence; a Flemish village less than 5 miles from the seaside towns and beaches of Tenby, Saundersfoot, Lydstep and Manorbier.
There are numerous attractions all within 20 minutes drive including Carew castle, Oakwood, Heatherton, Manor House Wild Animal Park and the Dinosaur Park.
The village has a couple of pubs which serve food, a tea room and a village store.
The coastal path is accessible at Lydstep Haven.
