Newport, the pearl of the Pembrokeshire coast, has several pubs and some superb restaurants, galleries and individual shops. There is an excellent 18 hole links golf course just above the beach. The property looks out across rolling pasture with fine views over the Teifi Estuary to Poppit beach and the hills of Pembrokeshire beyond. The nearby beach and boat club at "the Patch" and the coves of Gwbert are accessible by footpath or a 5 minute car ride away, making it an ideal location for a family holiday. The beach at Mwnt is owned and cared for by the National Trust, it is popular as the bottle nosed dolphins are often sighted in the sheltered bay.

Situated off the St Davids road in Letterston, this recently-built detached house offers very comfortable accommodation. Letterston has village shops, a pub and a famous fish and chip restaurant. Fishguard is about 10 minutes away and has several good pubs, eateries, galleries and shops. Abercastle beach & Haverfordwest are about 15 minutes drive and St Davids & Newport are within 30 minutes drive. Porthgain Harbour is close by and there is a great walk along the Coastal Path to the Blue Lagoon, this will give you a good appetite for a drink or a meal at The Sloop Inn on your return. There are several beaches and the Coastal Path close by as well as Priskilly golf course.
This detached dormer bungalow enjoys glorious views over Cardigan Bay to Poppit Sands and is less than 5 minutes walk from two hotels, one of which is a health spa, both open to non residents for food and drink. Cardigan Bay is famous for its dolphins, Patch beach and the Estuary are a pleasant half mile walk away and a haven for wildlife. Mwnt beach (National Trust) is a little further and well worth a visit. The Market Town of Cardigan is just over 2 miles away and has everything you could need - individual shops, galleries, banks and a theatre/cinema. Raglan is the gateway to the Wye Valley, it boasts a magnificent castle and is surrounded by stunning scenery. The market towns of Abergavenny, Monmouth and Usk are all within 7 miles of the cottage and offer excellent eating and shopping facilities as well as historic attractions. Ross on Wye, The Brecon Beacons and Tintern Abbey are all within easy reach. As well as Raglan Castle, there are at least 11 more within a 40 minute drive. There are village shops and 3 excellent pubs which serve food within a 10 minute walk.
