Situated just outside of the Town of Wrexham is Erddig hall and gardens. Owned by the National Trust it has been voted one of the country’s finest stately homes.
There is plenty to do at Erddig including tours of the house where you can discover over 200 unique portraits, enjoy the formal gardens and the open parkland, the kids will enjoy the Wolf’s Den natural play area (almost 2 acres) and there are places to grab a bite to eat or just relax and enjoy a picnic.
Apart from the main house, all of Erddig is dog friendly, there is also a well stocked gift shop and a plant sales area.
