\nFive scenic routes along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path<\/h2>\n
With so many amazing Pembrokeshire walking trails<\/a>, choosing our favourite routes was no easy feat! From day-long walks to afternoon strolls, here are five of the most scenic trails along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.<\/p>\n
1. Pwllgwaelod to Newport<\/h2>\n
Difficulty:<\/strong> Easygoing

<\/p>\nThis scenic, yet short route from Pwllgwaelod to Newport<\/a> takes you along the highest point on the coastal path. From here, you\u2019ll be able to gaze across the dramatic seascapes of Pembrokeshire\u2019s beautiful beache<\/a>s – be sure to take plenty of pictures before your ascent down to the bustling town of Newport<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A cosy two-bedroom retreat in Newport, Ty Caio<\/a> is perfect for a weekend break away with your other half. Close to two beautiful beaches as well as the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, you\u2019ll find plenty to keep you entertained during your stay. After a busy day of exploring the local area, snuggle up in the spacious living room or enjoy evening drinks on the private enclosed patio!<\/p>\n
\n2. Lydstep to St Govan’s<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\nQuite a strenuous walk across a varied landscape, this route from Lydstep to St Govan’s<\/a> will take you at least five hours (especially if you want to leave plenty of time for a picnic!). Just before you arrive at the scenic village of Manorbier, you\u2019ll pass by an ancient burial chamber known as the \u2018King’s Quoit\u2019. Fancy a break on the beach? If the tide is out, you can scramble down to the golden sands of Freshwater East.<\/p>\n
Stay at\u2026 Beach Cove (Ref. 1036173) Freshwater East, Pembrokeshire<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
Boasting spectacular views across the shimmering waters of Freshwater East, Beach Cove is a charming timber-clad beach house. Sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms, it\u2019s the perfect choice for a seaside break with the family. There\u2019s a whole host of pretty bays and coves to explore in the local area, and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is well within walking distance.<\/p>\n
\n3. Milford Haven to Dale<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\nWhile there are no steep gradients on this particular route, the entire journey from Milford Haven to Dale<\/a> takes around three hours. Starting from the marina in Milford Haven, this lovely trail takes you across to the scenic village of Dale.<\/p>\n
Along the way, you\u2019ll get the chance to climb down to the secluded Monk Haven beach – great for a quiet picnic or a sit-down before carrying on with the rest of the walk. When you arrive at Dale, it’s time to put up your feet and enjoy the views from one of our favourite pubs in Pembrokeshire.<\/a> You’ve earnt it!<\/p>\n
Stay at\u2026 Blackrock Boathouse (Ref. 1036102) Dale, Pembrokeshire<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
Set right on the waterfront, Blackrock Boathouse<\/a> is a delightful one-bedroom retreat in Dale<\/a>. A lovely couple\u2019s getaway, it has everything you need to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful coastline on your doorstep. The village is famed for its watersports activities, so you\u2019ll have plenty of opportunities to try your hand at sailing and windsurfing.<\/p>\n
\n4. Caerfai to Whitesands<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\nA real treat for adventurers, you\u2019re bound to see plenty of goings-on along the Caerfai to Whitesands<\/a> trail. From sailboats and seals to kayaks and climbers, Porth Clais is a hub of activity during the spring and summer months. You\u2019ll also have the chance to stop and enjoy a paddle on Porthlysgi Beach, before ascending the headland and enjoying the spectacular views across to Ramsey Island<\/a>.<\/p>\n
Stay at\u2026The Old Farmhouse Kitchen (Ref. 1035696) St Davids, Pembrokeshire<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\n5. Martin’s Haven to Nolton Haven<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\nThe <\/span>Martin’s Haven to Nolton Haven<\/span><\/a> actually lets visitors pass by six beautiful \u2018havens\u2019, including Druidston Haven, Broad Haven, Little Haven, St Bride\u2019s Haven, and of course, Martin\u2019s Haven and Nolton Haven. The scenery from the tops of the cliffs is absolutely breathtaking, especially on a clear summer\u2019s day. If you\u2019re lucky enough and the tide is out, you can reach Broad Haven<\/a> from Little Haven<\/a> without having to tackle the steep hill that separates them!<\/span><\/p>\n
