The centre of the village has its own original roundabout, which has developed around the old disused village pump on the green. Trefin&#8217;s pub &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/shipinn1797\/\" rel=\"noopener\">The Ship Inn<\/a>&#8221; is at the south end of the village. A welcoming, family orientated, pub with its own children&#8217;s room and garden.<\/p>\n<p>Just a short walk from the village of Trefin is the quiet bay of Aberfelin. Just a few metres above the beach lie the ruins of the historical mill &#8220;Melin Trefin&#8221;. These ruins are inextricably linked to one of <a href=\"http:\/\/yba.llgc.org.uk\/en\/s2-WILL-WIL-1875.html\" rel=\"noopener\">Archdruid Crwys<\/a>&#8216; most famous work &#8220;Melin Trefin&#8221;, which will ensure that Trefin is never forgotten within the culture of Wales. 2003 saw Trefin launched into the media limelight, when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cerysmatthews.co.uk\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Cerys Matthews<\/a>, lead singer of Catatonia, decided to get married in the tiny <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geograph.org.uk\/photo\/421020\" rel=\"noopener\">Rehoboth Chapel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sitting just underneath the ruins of the historic mill and enclosed by rugged cliffs, Aberfelin&#8217;s cove is a small low-tide sand and shingle beach. This understated cove is a lovely place to relax and enjoy or for the explorer in you boasts an excellent myriad of rock pools for you to explore.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Walking in Trefin<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"six columns\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Rugged Cliffs on the outskirts of Trefin\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/pembrokeshire\/images\/rugged-cliffs-trefin.jpg\" alt=\"Rugged Cliffs on the outskirts of Trefin\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Trefin and Aberfelin are also excellently located for those of you who wish to explore the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welsh-cottages.co.uk\/blog\/walking-the-pembrokeshire-coastal-path\">Pembrokeshire Coastal Path<\/a>, with easy access onto the path from the village or from the cove at Aberfelin.
