The beaches are amongst some of the most stunning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welsh-cottages.co.uk\/blog\/stunning-beaches-in-cardigan-bay\">beaches in Cardigan Bay<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At low tide, the kids can spend time exploring the many rock pools whilst you sit and soak up the coastal vistas.<\/p>\n<p>Keep your eyes peeled for the local wildlife \u2013 Bottlenose Dolphins can often be seen, whilst orcas and porpoises have also been spotted.<\/p>\n<p>Dogs are only allowed on the beaches from September to May but are welcome on the coast path at all times of the year. Walk along the Ceredigion Coastal Path<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3274\" src=\"https:\/\/www.welsh-cottages.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2019\/12\/Evening-light-and-clouds-between-Mwnt-and-Aberporth-Ceredigion-Dyfed-Wales-UK.png\" alt=\"Evening light and clouds between Mwnt and Aberporth, Ceredigion, Dyfed, Wales, UK.\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Aberporth is situated along the Ceredigion Coastal Path \u2013 part of the popular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welsh-cottages.co.uk\/blog\/explore-wales-coast-path\">Wales Coast Path<\/a>, making it easy to explore the beautiful Cardigan Bay Coastline.<\/p>\n<p>The route is well sign-posted from Aberporth, with one of the most popular routes being the 3km stroll from Aberporth to Tresaith. You may even be lucky enough to spot the Cardigan Bay bottlenose dolphins along the way.<\/p>\n<p>These beautiful mammals have been celebrated in Aberporth by a local wood and stone sculptor, Paul Clarke, designing and creating a life-sized leaping dolphin sculpture, carved from Welsh Oak. This is on display at the seafront in Aberporth and was unveiled in 2001.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>3.
