What attracts people here are the pretty thatched cottages that make this Village possibly the most chocolate box Village in Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Nearby also is the Merthyr Mawr National Nature Reserve, which fronts onto a huge beach that stretched from the mouth of the Ogmore River all the way west to Trecco Bay. The reserve is mostly a huge series of sand dunes.
