Laugharne Cottages

Carmarthenshire is well known for being home to late Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, in fact, Laugharne is where Dylan spent his time and gave him most of his inspiration. Visit the famous boathouse for a Welsh cake and cup of tea but remember to take a walk down to the shed on the shore that is still open today and see where Dylan Thomas would write his poetry.

The beautiful ruins of Castle Laugharne are located right on the estuary, this location is great for photography, watching wildlife and exploring the estuary shore. Spend a few hours exploring this medieval castle before walking the estuary to look out for the heron and other birds.
