“Outstanding accommodation, perfectly placed, a couple of minutes' walk above lovely Cwmtydu cove.”

Heaven for dog(s) with coastal path, woodland walks, rivers, streams and waterfalls. Once you arrive, no real need to take your car out again, except for provisions or exploring further afield. Very impressed with heat pump, underfloor heating and top quality Welsh wool mattress and duvet, and proper bed linen to aid deep sleep after hikes along the coast. Truly peaceful. Owners' welcome pack and detailed information much appreciated too.

Dolwylan Barn lies within a smallholding of 12 acres with majestic coastal views and is located just 300 metres from the quiet coastal cove of Cwmtydu.

Well decorated with a contemporary touch, this cosy cottage has vaulted ceilings upstairs, exposed stone walling and is the perfect place for a romantic getaway for two.

When you arrive, you'll be greeted with a light and spacious kitchen/diner, beautifully-appointed with those high ceilings and a lovely pastel colour scheme.

After another tiring day of adventure, unwind in the sitting room, with a classic movie on the screen and the crackle of the wood burning stove nearby.

The ground floor is completed by a contemporary shower room, while a second shower room and a well-presented king-size bedroom are located on the first floor.

With off-road parking, sea views and character features, these pet-friendly holiday homes are a superb choice for a family break or friends sharing. Take advantage of your closeness to the glorious Welsh coastline by walking the Ceredigion Coast Path; start off by heading down the short walk to Cwmtydu, a delightful little shingle beach with stream which was once a smugglers cove. Continue along the Coast Path, soaking in the spectacular sights as you explore the stunning coastline up towards New Quay and down towards Llangrannog and Penbryn beaches which have been included in the Sunday Times' 2022 selection of the 50 best beaches in the UK; the options are truly limitless! For the adventurous, try the white water canoeing at Llandysul or perhaps a more leisurely paddle further downstream on the River Teifi at Cilgerran. Those looking for a more leisurely time can take in the Georgian delights of coastal Aberaeron and then travel inland to tour the 18th century estate of Llanerchaeron, preserved by the National Trust, where an exquisite walled garden and an ornamental lake offer a truly idyllic setting for a stroll. Further afield, Cardigan offers a visit to its Castle which hosted the first Welsh Eisteddfod in 1176, along with a range of independent shops, galleries, cafes, pubs, supermarkets, a leisure centre/swimming pool and a fantastic cinema at Theatr Mwldan.
