Very clean and well maintained , and the garden is well kept . The hot tub was a welcoming bonus and we all enjoyed spending some time in it , my husband loved it !!! There was a lovely welcome tray on arrival and fresh milk in the fridge . Wern Newydd Farm in Wales is beautiful and really peaceful , and close for exploring other places , New Quay less than half an hour away , Aberystwyth an hour and other lovely places in-between , we went out to somewhere different every day , had some scrummy fish and chips in New Quay at The Lime Crab ,highly recommend ! . The owners of Wern Newydd Farm Terry and Louise are a really lovely couple , very welcoming and friendly , and have lots of knowledge of the area and ideas of places to go if needed . We did a lovely national trust visit while we were there , being members of national trust . I would definitely go back and recommend a holiday there 100 % . Thankyou Terry and Louise for a wonderful holiday ,we all throughly enjoyed ourselves . Xx

The property

A traditional timber lodge surrounded by a large garden area on Wern Newydd smallholding in Penrhiwllan. The name of the cottage derives from the little brook that runs alongside the property, a lovely little cabin suitable for a small family looking to get outdoors and discover an alternative style of accommodation. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon on the comfortable sofas with a good read or sit out on the veranda with a refreshing beverage and even climb into the hot tub and soak up the bubbles. When the day comes to a close and it's finally time to rest, there are two delightful bedrooms for you and the kids to get a peaceful nights' sleep. Note: Property can be booked with Ref. 983485 and 983484, together they sleep eight people.

Wern Newydd

Wern Newydd is a smallholding housing three delightful properties in the town of Llandysul. Rose Cottage is a lovely semi-detached annexe to the main farmhouse whilst Brook Lodge sits alongside the little stream with a surrounding verdant garden, ideal for sitting out and soaking up the rural atmosphere while the kids run around with the dog. Rose Cottage and The Mill each offer a homely, inviting atmosphere with a mezzanine-style bedroom overlooking the cosy sitting area. The bespoke super king-size bed exudes unique quality and style whilst the enchanting spiral staircase boasts elegance. They both comprise well-equipped kitchens for all your cooking needs, accommodating dining areas and fabulous hot tubs (excluding The Mill) to enjoy with a refreshing glass of wine. Brook Lodge sleeps four people in two bedrooms; a super king-size with an en-suite cloakroom and a twin bedroom. The modern shower room exudes a Scandinavian feel with light wood panelling all along the walls in a quality finish. These cottages are ideal for a couple and a small family wanting to get together in the idyllic countryside. Why not dine out for the evening together? The Daffodil pub/restaurant is very well renowned locally, is dog-friendly and is about half a mile walk at the end of the farm track. There is lots of walking available, kayaking on the river Teifi with Llandysul Paddlers and Brechfa forest not too far for mountain biking. Llandysul is a thriving little village boasting a range of shops, tea rooms and even its own canoeing club and national cycle route 82. With plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, Wern Newydd provides three wonderful properties from which to discover a lovely part of Wales.
