“We had a lovely stay overall and would definitely recommend this cottage, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful location close to the beach.”
The positives far outweighed the negatives. The garden was fantastic for our dogs, the BBQ was great, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. It had everything you could possibly need, including plenty of towels, washing-up liquid and other essentials. We were also pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome gifts of Prosecco, milk, coffee, tea bags and even dog treats. It’s a lovely touch and something we’ve found lacking in many previous holiday cottages.

The beds were comfortable, parking directly outside the cottage was convenient, and the location was beautiful, with the beach nearby and several pubs within easy walking distance.
There are a few areas where we feel improvements could make an already lovely property even better:
● An outside light would be really helpful.
● Shelves in the shower and above the bathroom sink would provide somewhere practical to put toiletries.
● USB plug sockets would be a useful modern addition.
● A towel rail would be appreciated.
● A toilet roll holder is needed in the bathroom.
● We found the hot tub disappointing and unfortunately didn’t feel it was fit for purpose.
● We would also recommend curtains in the bedrooms, as the blinds don’t block out enough light.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. With just a few small improvements, this would easily be a five-star property.
