This is an amazing find.

Cleanliness was exceptional. Supplies were plentiful. It really is home away from home. There were bowls, treats, bags, blankets for the dogs. The courtyard is secure. I just couldn’t fault it. Everything seems high quality mattresses, covers, sofa, bedding ect. The cooker was clean and all recycling boxes were even spotless. Reading the right up of what is there they really don’t do it justice. I didn’t remember reading tumble dryer. Hair dryer in two bedrooms. Not to sure about third. I do like to clean when I am away. You don’t always get this supplied and normally I have to go and buy which you never use a great deal off. All that was there a larder cupboard in kitchen full of things you may need. A Retractable clothes line. Clothes horses if needed. Watering can to wash away dog mess if needed. As there is no grass outside. Warm shower outside. Amazing.

We had another delightful stay at Ty'r Winlan - clean, comfortable, well equipped and ideally placed for exploring this beautiful area.

The weather was very unsettled this time but we still had some great walks along the coast. Highly recommended!

We have visited this property several times before.

It is our “home from home” in our favourite destination. The property is comfortable, clean and has everything needed to ensure an enjoyable stay. The owner is always available if needed which, thankfully, is very rarely being the property is obviously well cared for and has all the information and creature comforts needed. A real gem that we will definitely be revisiting.

What a lovely house Ty'r Winllan is.

Very nicely decorated with a lovely enclosed garden for my Spaniel to run around in. I had communication with the owner beforehand which was really helpful. A wonderful welcome pack greeted my dog and I, thank you. The Christmas decorations throughout the house were a great addition. It felt very festive. A 2 minute walk to the shops and pubs. The market on Monday was a wonderful surprise and the butchers was excellent too. I will definitely stay here again.

A lovely home-from-home property.

Well equipped and cosy. Very close proximity ( a 5 minute walk ) to Newport town and its facilities and the beautiful coastal / estuary walk. We are repeat visitors and it never fails to disappoint.

Extremely clean and welcoming. The enlcosed garden was excellent for our two dogs. Thanks to the owners for the welcome gifts. We and the dogs enjoyed them.

Cannot recommend this cottage highly enough felt like a real home from home.

Has everything you could need, comfy beds, weather didn’t allow use of the bbq and make the most of the garden, but everything there for you. Plenty of extra touches towels and throws for our doggy and treats in his welcome pack. Great location for walks and the beach/pubs. Would definitely rebook if we are staying in the area.

Owners thought of everything you could possibly want. Very well equipped. Very comfortable. Very quiet. Perfect location, walking distance to shops, dog friendly pubs/cafes/restaurants/beaches Newport Sands is particularly stunning dog friendly beach, 10 mins in car or 30 min walk, with Cat Rock Cafe, dog friendly eatery with views over beach/surrounding area.

We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years but we can safely say that Ty’r Winllan is the cleanest , most comfortable and best equipped of them all. We will certainly go again.

We loved Ty’r Winllan it was absolutely beautiful.

It was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise. The location of this house is perfect just on the parrog road ideal for walking in every direction and only a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. There were plenty of lovely restaurants the Golden Lion and the Castle Inn with superb food and drinks on offer. We loved the butchers which had fresh produce and their pork pies, lamb, and fruit especially a favourite of ours. The weather was an added bonus it was lovely. I had been in touch with the owner Mair just before arrival and I found to be super helpful and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this house. Fantastic holiday

Everything about this property is fantastic.

We've just returned from our fourth stay at Ty'r Winllan and already can't wait to return. The most pet friendly property we've ever stayed in, from the outdoor shower to the pet blankets and bowls, this place is perfect for your furry friends. Our dog loves it as much as we do! Very close proximity to the beach as well as the shops. Mair and Gareth have created a a gorgeous and well equipped property which is a must if you are looking to stay in Newport.

Ty’r Winllan is the most comfortable and well equipped holiday rental we have ever stayed in.

It is spotlessly clean, cosy and warm. It is perfectly situated, a 5 minute walk to the coastal / estuary walks and Newport town is a few minutes walk away with all the facilities needed to help make this our favourite holiday home and Newport our favourite holiday destination.

Very clean property with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.

We have stayed in many cottages in Newport and this is one of the best. Great communication from the owners who let us know the house would be ready a couple of hours early

Lovely house in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved Newport. We really appreciated the welcome goodies for us and the dog - all the more so because we had a horrible journey! The dog loved walking to the beach every morning and afternoon and patrolling the patio to make sure all was well! Perfect autumn break complete with mostly good weather. Thank you.

Lovely holiday cottage situated between the shops one way and the Parrog the other.

Probably one of the cleanest properties I have ever rented and well equipped. Hand soap, washing up liquid, cloths/tea towels etc all provided. Useful things to know that are not included in the description, there is a 3 drawer freezer and the cloakroom (and bathroom) is upstairs and not downstairs. We found the parking to be fine as others have mentioned difficulties. You could fit 3 small/medium cars on the drive if needed. I have an SUV and reversed in for ease pulling out. Also note that once the season ends at the end of the school summer holidays a lot of the cafes and restaurants amend their opening hours and the summer pop up options close. This meant there was only one dog friendly option on a Monday evening so the Golden Lion was very busy. Most places are now closed Mondays and Tuesdays it seems. There is a small farmers market on a Monday morning for some of the season which wasn't advertised, worth supporting. Mamgu in St David's is dog friendly and the best breakfast we had. Absolutely would return if I wanted to holiday in the area again.

Ty'r Winllan is centrally located in Newport with easy walks to the local pubs, shops and to the sea. The house itself is really well equipped, very comfortable to relax in and immaculately clean. The back patio is totally enclosed and was ideal for our terrier. Communication with the owners was excellent and we really appreciated the welcome pack for both ourselves and the dog. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return very soon.

Lovely property to stay at.

Short of nothing. Good for a family, due to single beds in two of the rooms as set out for our stay but there was just the two of us) As advertised parking can be a bit tight but we had no problems. Whilst we were there, there was an issue with the hot water-night before Water company had advised of issues with water outages. I contacted owner who arranged for a plumber who fixed the issue while we were out. This didn't cause any disruption to our holiday. Newport is a lovely place to stay two very good pubs to eat- Castle & Golden Lion. No shortage of other places to eat. Fine place to stay and explore Pembrokeshire/South Wales

The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into the comfort of their guests. Amazing location, lots of walks from the door and 2 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. We hope to be back soon.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous stay at this lovely house.

It is clear to see so much thought has been been put into providing everything to make this a comfortable stay. It had everything we needed and more. The house is spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. We had no worries with our dog as the garden is secure and he loved the treats left for him, thanks you. We also loved our welcome treats. The house is in an excellent location and loved the bay is at the bottom of the road. There is good communication with the owners and all information is sent in plenty of time for arrival. We will definitely be returning, absolutely loved it.

It is very much a home from home. Everything you need is here, the home is very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. Even your furry friends have everything from an outside hot shower to towels, food bowls and treats. The beach is less than 5 minutes walk. The town itself has everything, well stocked shop a fantastic butcher and a few pubs and restaurants. Excellent communication before and after your stay from the lovely owners. Thank you for having us we had a great time again. Very nice welcome pack on arrival.

A perfect location if you like walking with the property offering all that you could need.

I would say that this is the most comfortable property we have rented, all too often a place has a really high spec but the furniture is hard work to relax on. Not here, really comfey and warm, everything easy to use and really clean. We would definitely return.

Detached house with a Double and 2 Twins and enclosed rear patio garden. Great location within walking distance of local shops. Good access for nearby walks, Parrog and Newport Sands. Good communication from owner before arrival. Would definitely recommend.

Ty'r Winllan is a perfect cottage in which to stay on the beautiful north Pembrokeshire coast.

Centrally situated in the town of Newport, it is an easy walk to the shops and to the sea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ty'r Winllan (The Vineyard House) which is comfortable and well-equipped with everything one needs for a self-catering holiday. Highly recommended - we'll be booking again!

The bed, pillows and linen are lovely-the owners really have put a lot of thought into the property. The welcome pack was much appreciated as was the information they provided regarding walks in the surrounding area. The house is only 5 minutes walk to several good, dog friendly pubs etc for meals out, 10 minutes walk to the coast path.

we had a lovely week in Pembrokeshire. The house is just as described, clean, well equipped, and spacious. The garden is perfect for sitting out in the warm evening's. We loved the location beach at one end of the road and the main street at the other just perfect no need to use the car unless exploring further afield.

We loved this property from the moment we walked in!

Super clean, very comfortable - even didn't need to use my memory foam pad on the bed as there was already a memory foam topper which I was so grateful for :) We even had a sunny clear day to walk up Carningli which was wonderful! Clearly cater for dogs with the extra throws, towels and dog bowls which is all a lovely touch. I would suggest reading the instructions for the oven as that was the only way I was able to use it. Loved the shower with plenty of hot water on demand. Great location being able to walk up into the town of Newport. Ty'r Winllan is a superb cottage to stay we found no fault whatsoever, everything was to your need.

The cleanliness was first class,comfortable beds,plenty of hot water,and all utilities you needed in the kitchen. We were left with a bottle of prosecco, box roses chocolates, some Welsh cakes and treats for the dog which was so considerate of them. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. A truly lovely property with everything we needed and more. Spacious, clean and very well equipped. Thoughtful extras like a welcome pack (including doggy treats) were unexpected but very much appreciated - thank you. Perfectly situated for coastal walks with the dog, followed by food in one of the local pubs and then able to relax back at the house on the comfortable sofas. The fully enclosed patio garden perfectly safe for the dog. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here and hope to return ourselves. A big thank you to the owners for making this a home from home - one of the nicest we've stayed in. Highly recommended.

This property has been well refurbished and has top class fittings and fixtures.

The owners have gone to some length to provide additional items such as guides, games and books. There was a generous welcome pack when we arrived and well thought out instructions for equipment at the property. There was also lots of furniture throws to protect the seating from our dog. nice enclosed garden to rear with table for al fresco dining & other seating area. we were really lucky to have a week of warm sunny weather so was lovely to sit with glass of wine in evening. the property was well equipped with every thing you would need. if you have children there were toys jigsaws & games, also bucket & spades for the beach which was a short drive away. the extra room down the stairs with tv is a great place for kids to play or if 2 couples to have your own space to chill. the welcome pack was extremely generous. places to eat or a drink just few minutes walk away. there was nothing negative to say about this property. thank you

This is our second stay in Ty'r Winllan and we enjoyed ourselves even more than last year.

The property is superb for our needs and the location is excellent for either going to Tenby or Cardigan. Mair and Gareth the house owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them - we would highly recommend staying here, thank you.

Pets are allowed but the rules regarding them are the only negative in my opinion. Not really dog friendly.

This was a really well equipped and comfortable place to stay that suited our needs perfectly.

The courtyard at the back was very secure for our dog and had good facilities for sitting and eating outside. Great parking at the front and in a nice quiet area. Not far to walk to the centre of the town and eating places. Two EV charging stations in the local car park for up to four cars at a time, only three minutes walk away. Lots of local walks and beaches close by. A great place to stay to see the Pembrokeshire Coast and other places.

They are lovely people and very accommodating. The house is perfectly located in the town which allowed us walk to the local shops, pubs and beach. The house was spotless, very comfortable and had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. I have already booked again. Thank you

Always struggle with what to take for a short self catering break but needn’t have worried as all essentials were available down to milk in the fridge and treats for the dog. The property is an easy stroll to the coastal path and to all local amenities. Loved Ty’r Winllan and will definitely recommend.

The cottage was excellent, very clean, very comfortable, lots of room.

Less than 5 minute walk to shops and pubs, and less than 10 minutes to beach. Everything you need for your holiday is at the cottage for yourselves and your dog. We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would recommend this cottage for a stay in Newport. We cannot wait to go again, my son didn't want to come home.

Fantastic location- very close to the village for shops and pubs, but within reasonable stroll to Parrog beach where amazing sunsets await you every night.

Weather was perfect and the house provided everything we needed, with a better than average welcome pack and access to general kitchen supplies

The house was spotlessly clean with everything we could want. A perfect location and I would highly recommend to others looking to visit the area.

The house was excellent and really comfortable for all 6 adults, toddler and dog, exceeding our expectations.

We had a wonderful time.

The cottage was an excellent standard and we loved the different outdoor seating areas in the front and back gardens. Great for enjoying the good weather. Beds are comfortable, the shower hot and powerful and kitchen well equipped. Be warned, getting out of the drive may need someone to keep an eye on the traffic because of the angle but not a major issue. Loved it and we are back in October.

Exceptionally clean, well equipped house in a wonderful location.

The cottage is in the heart of Newport, within easy walking distance of the shops and pubs and also within easy reach of several lovely walks.

There was everything you could wish for inside the cottage and the welcoming parcel of milk, chocolates, biscuits aswell as the tea and coffee was a lovely thought. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again. Many thanks Sue, Pete and Beth May

Lovely clean property - great location for walks & sight seeing; welcome pack was an unexpected treat (as were the Roses chocolates).

Ideal for pets - even the dog had a welcome pack. Very clear instructions on everything. Somehow the owners arranged the weather too! Totally recommended - and we will definitely return to Newport and to this house.

Fabulous location in Newport.

Very clean and had everything we needed. Lovely welcome pack and clear instructions for everything . Thoughtful and kind communications .Excellent for a dog due to tiled floors and outside shower and owners are clearly dog lovers who provided very thoughtful and kind things for dogs . We had a lovely holiday and would definitely return to Newport and I would recommend this house for a group or family . I cooked all our meals and found the kitchen very well stocked and easy to use which is often not the case with holiday houses . Very clean and comfortable bedrooms and lovely bathroom. Everything was beautifully clean and very easy to keep clean. For the future listing, I would suggest considering - The parking - it was quite challenging for our VW transporter to get in and out of the small, tight gate on the road. I had to drive past the house and turn so that I could enter from a left hand turn, and needed someone to guide me / stop traffic while I reversed out . There would certainly not have been room for another car although the listing states there is room for two or three. There is no garden . The outside paved area is small and in shadow all day and is overlooked on all sides by neighbours and there are also no views from any windows . The house is a good base for being out all day, but not very cosy for staying in on wet days . Perhaps there were no bedroom curtains due to covid ? The blinds did not shut out the morning light , which is obviously early in the summer - we tried to hang up towels on the window sash to make it dark, but it didn’t really work. It is a very clean and functional house and not cosy or quirky , but this may be due to covid and because it is equipped for dogs. Our dog is only a tiny chihuahua but I can imagine a bigger dog would be very easy to clean up after walks on the beach without leaving lots of mess in the house. It is certainly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed in and I would book again.

The cottage is perfectly positioned for the town and the Parrog with plenty of perfect routes for walks with our dog.

The cottage itself was super clean and freshly decorated with a very well equipped kitchen. The owners had really thought about everything a holidaymaker would need when staying in a holiday cottage. The welcome food basket was also much appreciated! We would love to return someday!
