The property

Aelwyd Y Don is a fantastic, detached property settled in the charming village of Tresaith in Ceredigion, it's close to Tresaith beach.

Enjoy the sea views as you sip a glass of wine on the balcony and retreat with as much or as little activity as you would like.

Pack up the family and two furry friends and head straight to Aelwyd Y Don, where three off-road parking spaces will greet you, before you climb the steps up to your new home-away-from-home.

Look forward to relaxing in the spacious living/dining room with views of Cardigan Bay and the famous Cardigan Bay Dolphins at play, where you can savour tasty meals around the dining table with your loved ones, before retreating to the sunken sitting area with a bowl of popcorn to enjoy a family film night on the TV, as the gas fire adds a glow and warmth to the room.

For a peaceful moment, cosy up on an armchair in the snug and select your favourite book to escape with.

Get creative in the fully-functioning kitchen with views outside of nature in its haven, where you can test out new recipes using the electric double oven and grill, followed by an easy clean up courtesy of the dishwasher.

Just off the kitchen, you will find a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, so you won’t need to bring your whole wardrobe with you!

If you’re not quite ready for the evening to end, take evening drinks to the delightful picnic bench and snuggle up under the provided blankets on cooler evenings.

When sleep finally calls, take your pick from a super-king-size with TV and en-suite bathroom, a king-size with TV, a double and a twin, to catch your rest in.

Wake-up and treat yourself to an indulgent soak in the bath or a refreshing shower, before a quick freshen up in the cloakroom and setting out for a day of adventures.

Be sure to pack up your swimming trunks, buckets and spades and venture straight to the beautiful Tresaith beach, where you can soak up the sun, beachcomb the shores or take a dip in the clear waters.

As you wander along the beach you will find the picturesque Tresaith waterfall, a delightful sight to behold and well worth a visit.

If you’re not ready for the beach fun to end, head to the village of Aberporth which boasts two glorious beaches, which wouldn’t look out of place abroad.

After a day of swimming, why not treat the family to a tasty pub lunch at The Ship Bar & Grill, perfect for when you don’t feel like cooking.

For a truly unforgettable day, visit the cliff-top coastal village of Gwbert, where you can take to the waters on dolphin and wildlife watching boat trips, a superb way to see the sights.

For those of your party who have brought their clubs, Gwbert is home to two excellent golf courses where you can test your game whilst enjoying marvellous sea views.

A must-see is Cardigan's impressive 12th-century riverside castle, as well as the charming traditional market held in the local guildhall.

Whatever time of year, Aelwyd Y Don is an ideal dwelling for exploring the beautiful Welsh coast.
