“The cottage was perfect and very clean.”

Would highly reccommend the cottage for its facilities and especially the views from every room they are stunning over the countryside. The owners Mandy and Kev cannot do enough for you and are very friendly and helpful.

Llandeilo 3.9 miles.

Nestled amidst the Carmarthenshire countryside, with captivating views towards the Brecon Beacons, is this single-storey property, offering an exceptional self-catering experience in rural Wales.

Sewin Cottage, one in a complex of three with the owners living nearby, is a great find for a small family or friends seeking a base in which to enjoy all that this part of Wales has to offer, with both coast and countryside awaiting to be explored.

Soak up the surrounding views of the property before entering into the newly improved (2022) open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, which is elegantly decorated and houses all the modern conveniences to ensure a comfortable stay with stunning countryside views.

The kitchen area has an array of quality appliances for cooking up a storm to be enjoyed at the dining table in the new glass extension with panoramic views, where you can relish in the company of your loved ones as you tuck into a home-cooked dish.

The sofas invite you to kick back and relax in front of the Smart TV, the perfect way to unwind after a bracing walk in the Welsh hills.

Once the evening draws to a close, retire to either bedroom, boasting a king-size bed, or the twin zip'n'link (super king size on request) - ideal for a family or two couples.

With the good weather, look forward to heading out on the patio and taking a relaxing soak in the private hot tub and you can also light up the barbecue and enjoy a spot of alfresco dining.

If you can tear yourself away from this rural base, take a stroll into the village or take the car out to the nearby town of Llandeilo, where you will find a larger selection of amenities including an array of individual shops, galleries and eateries.

Attractions within the area include the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney, a garden lost in time, and for those feeling active, explore on two wheels, the network of paths within the Brechfa Forest.

Within the surrounding area, you will also find plenty of outdoor action, with the River Towey offering great salmon and sewin fishing, whilst the many woodland walks offer opportunities to catch glimpses of wildlife, including red kites, owls, badgers and deer.

Alternatively, avid ramblers can look forward to exploring the Black Mountain and Brecon Beacons National Park, whilst beachcombers can travel to the Gower Peninsula, which plays host to array of stunning beaches, including Three Cliffs Bay and Rhossili Bay.

Sewin Cottage is an outstanding accommodation.
