“This was our third trip to Step In.”

We love the remoteness and the peace, the tranquility and the beauty. It allows us to properly switch off. The house and gardens are great, the welcome is always warm and there’s so much to do in the area. We will be back!

The home has rural views but is also close to Pembrokeshire's beautiful beaches, providing a family of four with the perfect combination of sights to see during their break.

After you've parked, soak in the surrounding beauty and the sounds of the river before entering this wonderful property.

As you enter the cottage, the sitting room welcomes you with warmth from the warming wood burning fire, as well as plush sofas to relax on while watching TV.

Continue to the sizeable kitchen, which features a variety of useful appliances as well as a dining table that seats the entire family.

The utility is located just off the kitchen and contains a washing machine, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and a tumble dryer; ensuring that you're well catered for here!

After a long day, freshen up in the cloakroom or relax with a peaceful dip in the bathroom upstairs, where you can also take in the views of the countryside from the comfort of your bath.

Choose between a wonderful double or twin room for a well-deserved rest; both rooms include coastal blue elements throughout, with the double including double aspect windows with views of the garden and countryside.

Enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the back garden's patio.

A picnic seat and fire pit is ready for you to relax in alongside the picturesque river Gwaun and can be found across the road in another charming garden.

Travel a short distance (12minutes approx) into Fishguard for your amenities, where you can learn all about Welsh folk heroine Jemima Nicholas and the Last Invasion of mainland Britain in 1797!

Also, enjoy beautiful Lower Town, the location for Dylan Thomas' 'Under Milk Wood' big screen adaptation, featuring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.

Be sure to pay St Davids a visit, Wales' smallest city, which also enjoys access to a range of beaches, including Whitesands Bay, along with the Porthclais harbour and St. Non's Cliffs.

Spend the day in Cardigan, home to the historic wonders of Cardigan Castle and the Guildhall Market, as well as hosting the enchanting Welsh Wildlife Centre in nearby Cilgerran, where ample walking can be enjoyed.

Spend more time within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park for even more seaside fun or explore the mystical Preseli Hills, the source of the Bluestones of Stonehenge and then visit the historic town of Pembroke with its castle that gave us the Tudor Dynasty, or travel to Tenby for a fantastic day at the beach.

Whatever you choose to do, Step In provides a serene haven to return to at the end of each day.
