Well presented and clean! So peaceful and relaxing! Hele was super helpful with anything we needed, even offering extra bits for little one! 15 minute drive from lots of gorgeous Welsh towns and 5 mins from Usk which has lovely river walks and cute little places to stop for a drink

“The cottage has everything that you could possibly want for a restful stay away from home.”

Owners in an adjoining farmhouse should there be any problems. Excellent facilities in a quiet rural location, but many places to explore across Wales for interesting days out. No need to cook, with a small on site family run restaurant, providing excellent breakfasts and meals which locals recognise as a favoured place to visit. We stayed for 10 days and will be very happy to return again.

“Beautifully presented, plenty of space for everyone including our dog.”

For my elderly parents getting around the ground floor was easy and having a downstairs bedroom and bathroom was key to the booking. Excellent location for access to neighbouring villages and towns. We even re-booked before we left whilst enjoying the peaceful garden setting. Thank you Helene and Rob

“Lovely quiet location near Usk.”

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4night stay with the family where we found our hosts were very hospitable. The cottage was very clean and beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for our party of 11 including a enclosed garden for our dog. The tea and welsh cakes on arrival were very welcome after our journey. A short drive takes you to Usk which is well worth exploring. The Renaissance cafe on-site provided a lovey menu to suit all tastes with friendly service.

“We all thoroughly enjoyed our week at Mistletoe Cottage.”

The property is in a delightful setting with a very pleasant dog proof garden. The interior has been beautifully designed and well equipped and was exceptionally comfortable. The adjacent cafe was an added bonus and sufficiently distant to be non intrusive. Hele and Rob were charming and perfect hosts, informative and helpful. The surrounding area is stunning, with easy access to Usk and enchanting river walks.

“Everything we could have needed was in the property which was very clean, comfortable and fitted out to a high standard.”

“Everything it said it would be, but nicer!”

Beautifully situated. Very private and relaxed setting, whilst friendly owners are on hand if needed. Great cafe adjoining, which adds rather than detracts from the experience. A lovely place to stay, that feels like a home, and not a holiday cottage. Beautifully furnished and equipped. Just missing a colander!! :)

“Mistletoe Cottage was everything we hoped for and more!”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find, well maintained and spacious. It is an extremely well equipped property. We were warm; beds were comfy and towels were good quality. It was a bonus having the Craft Renaissance Kitchen practically on our doorstep - they serve an extremely tasty roast dinner on a Sunday!

“Thank you for allowing us to have a great family holiday, with ages from 3 to 81!”

! We were all very happy, well equiped, including plastic bowls and spoons .etc for small children. Beds were very comfy, as were the sofas , with plenty of towels for everyone.Everything we needed for a family holiday and our granchildren were even allowed to explore property before the grownups so they could sort out sleeping arrangements!!! And I would like to mention the decor, really lovely and perfect for a property of it's age and yet with all mod cons!! Thank you so much and we hope to be back sometime soon.

The property is very well equipped, extremely clean a tidy throughout. My entire family were able to stay all together under one roof to celebrate my 60th birthday, so we will all have very fond memories of our stay. The property was exactly as the photographs showed although the descriptions of the bedrooms on the various floors could be better described. The welcome pack and all the items included in the cottage should be mentioned ie tea, ground coffee and bathroom shower products as this is a very generous gesture.

“This was the most gorgeous house and was perfect for our needs for a long weekend.”

“We had a wonderful stay for my mums 60th birthday.”

The cottage is beautiful and in a gorgeous location. The child and adults all loved it. The cottage was clean and well equipped for our stay. We would also give the hosts more than 5 out of 5 if we could for being so helpful and understanding when we had a poorly child and car problems! Hosts were fantastic throughout our stay and available when needed.

“Fantastic place in a lovely part of Wales.”

We had a large group of 9 plus one dog and had lots of room... even an extra bedroom that we didn't need. Very welcoming and accommodating owners who went out of their way to get everything just right for us. Added bonus of the lovely cafe connected to the site, which does a fabulous breakfast! We would be very happy to recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the region.

All the facilities you could need, amazing kitchen fully stocked with all crockery/pots/utensils/ kids crockery etc. Hele and Rob were wonderful hosts, provided all baby equipment for us so we didn't have to bring it and even put up a Christmas tree for me! Literally couldn't recommend enough! X

The beautiful town of Usk nestles in the gentle Monmouthshire hills along the lovely banks of the River Usk. The town is steeped in history, from the ruins of a Norman castle to the seventeenth century buildings that adorn the cobbled streets. It's like stepping back in time with wonderful antique shops and cosy, friendly tea rooms and yet the more up to date boutiques fit nicely into the leisurely pace of life in this sleepy market town. The golfing courses abound in the area with the spectacular Celtic Manor Golf Course close by where Europe won the Ryder Cup and where all golfers are welcome whatever your handicap. The beautiful Usk and Wye Valleys offer wonderful scenic walks or cycle rides and the array of renowned restaurants offer fine dining at the highest level.
