“The property was lovely and comfortable.”

The facilities were good…lacked some of the basics: hair dryer, corkscrew, information pack.

“Spent a lot of money to stay here for 2 days the cottage itself was lovely but they think it's acceptable to charge an extra 50 pound cleaning charge for some confetti we left on the floor which I tried to hoover up but the hoover doesn't work!”

When I advised them of this they asked for proof as if I would lie about that would not recommend or stay again for that reason

“A lovely property in a good location, within walking distance to all amenities and some great pubs and restaurants.”

You are located on the main road through the village and so you will hear traffic noise in the mornings. A bonus having a hot tub and a nice outdoor dining area that catches the late afternoon sun, which we had the benefit of. The property is well presented and was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. We would definitely recommend and will return.

“We had the most beautiful stay here.”

The house is perfect, beautiful kitchen, location and outside area. The beds were so comfy that we are actually going to buy the same bedding! Only thing was that the hot tub was stuck in eco mode and wasn’t warm enough to use on our arrival. Quickly sorted though, with the hot tub being changed into standard mode and warming quickly. The property owners couldn’t have been more helpful.

Laugharne, with its majestic castle standing on a low ridge overlooking the wide Taf River Estuary, is famous for its associations with the poet Dylan Thomas, and a visit to his Boat House and the writing shed where he wrote most of his works is a wonderful experience. Beautiful walks in and around the castle, with breathtaking views of the estuary, can be followed by cream teas in quaint little tea rooms, a drink in the local pub or shopping in the gift shops and mini market. The nearby sandy beach at Pendine is where many land speed records have been famously set on its seven mile stretch of beautiful flat sand, and a little further afield are the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot.
