A good location for touring the area. A very helpful and informative owner. Would recommend.

Field View was a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside.

The cottage was very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Steph was very helpful, welcoming and shared lots of useful information with us. Our dog Wanda loved the dog walking area which was fenced off and safe for her to be off lead.

Great little place as a base and then to relax on your return in the hot tub.

Easy to find, shops close by and the owners are just across the way if you need anything. What compliments this accommodation is the fact that they allow dogs and have an area just for them. There are plenty of of beaches less than an hour away plus some great walks. Plenty of information in the accommodation plus you can double check online as the WiFi is included in your stay. Wasn’t required but if you have EV then there is a charger onsite.

Field View cottage was lovely!

Small but cosy & comfortable with everything we needed & more! The extra touches to welcome us ie tea, coffee, milk & Welsh cakes were very much appreciated after a long journey! We were greeted by the owners, Steph & Chris on arrival, who were very welcoming & knowledgeable about places to visit. We were staying at the cottage as a treat for my husband's significant birthday & Steph was kind enough to bring him a birthday card & flapjacks on the day! A lovely personal touch! Thank you. We had a relaxing week, with afternoon visits to local areas & lots of walks with our dog Bella. We all particularly appreciated the enclosed dog exercise area at the cottage, allowing Bella to run free & play. At the end of the day, we found the bed VERY comfortable for a restful sleep too! The area was very convenient for 2 supermarkets & central to lots of lovely places to visit. We would recommend the cottage!

This was our third visit to Field View and we were just as impressed as our first visit.

The cottage is so well equipped, clean, comfortable and our dog Carreg loves the dog field. Steph and Chris are always available is you need any info. Already looking forward to going next year.

Such a nice touch and very kind of you, thankyou. The bed was very comfortable, the balcony was delightful, having the fields as a view, beautiful sunrise and seeing the frost in the mornings, we were very lucky to have had snow during our stay aswell! The facilities were fantastic, the hot tub and the private off lead dog field exceeded our stay! The local area has some beautiful dog walks, pubs, shops and the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside. The hosts were extremely helpful, with recommendations of local spots and are on site should you need anything. Being a solo traveller I felt safe in the area and having the owners on site was a bonus! Thankyou again for a wonderful stay and the additional goodies, from Alexandra & Mia

A bijou cottage with very good basic facilities.

Everything was clean and tidy. Some small improvements would make the accommodation better, but overall, we were happy.

Lovely stay and lovely hosts!

The hot tub was lush, and the property is well situated. It is next to a fast road, but it is only busy (if you can even call it that) in the morning for work and school traffic. It did not cause us any issues, and we managed to walk along it to reach the local footpaths easily.

The location is ideal for getting to a lot of lovely places.

The only downside of the furniture in the cottage is the sofa.. the outside chairs were more comfy to sit on.

What a lovely cottage to stay in.

Steph and Cris are fantastic hosts, so welcoming and friendly. The dogvpa4k is just what we needed first thing on a morning and last thing at night. The cottage is within driving distance of lovely beaches and forest walks.

We had a lovely stay in Field View cottage.

It was well presented and the attention to detail was second to none. The hot tub was nice and refreshing. The only fault I had was there was no iron to freshen up clothing after being packed away in bags. We loved sitting on the balcony having a glass of something and watching the animals in the fields. We saw red kites soaring in the sky. Which was a lovely sight to behold.

Loved the hot tub. Our dog loved the exercise area. Everything was very well thought out. We highly recommend staying at this cottage for a peaceful and restful time.

The owners were very welcoming and the cottage was very comfortable.

The hot tub was checked daily by the owners and was a nice way to end the day especially as the weather was so good and the skies were clear. There was a scheduled power cut on our last day and the owners were prepared to provide us with alternative cooking facilities. They also provided a flask of hot water. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in this perfect cottage.

We could not fault a thing! Chris and Stef were fabulous hosts and very responsive and welcoming. The cottage had everything we needed and the hot tub was perfect after a day exploring. The accommodation was perfect for our pooch and she enjoyed the dog exercise area. The tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes were a lovely welcome too! Would recommend a trip to Poppit Sands beach, Aberaeron, Cardigan (for the brownies!) and Aberystwyth!

Lovely stay in this perfect little cottage.

The owners, Chris and Steph, are terrific and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The views from the cottage are spectacular and it is wonderfully quiet apart from the occasional passing car or farm vehicle. Although we didn't have time to use the hot tub it looks very inviting especially at night when, if it is clear, the stars are brilliant with no light pollution. Would thoroughly recommend for a very relaxing break.

Field View apartment was very quiet and peaceful.

The deck overlooking the fields was a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. The hottub was great to sooth muscles after a day of hiking to castles or through beautiful gardens a short drive away. A 15 minute drive took us to a great store so we could cook our own meals in the well supplied kitchen. We spent a well-rested 10 days at Field View, it's a great base from which to explore southwest Wales!

This was our second visit to Field View and again a first class stay.

New owners Chris and Steph were so welcoming...the perfect hosts. Field View the perfect place to get away from the routine of everyday life. Everything you need is there including the Hot Tub...morning noon and night. A good base for getting out and about by car or walking and local transport. We look forward to a return visit in 2025....still so many places we wish to find and visit. Thank you Chris and Steph we wish you both every success

This was such a wonderful break to decompress and write!

We both spent ages in the hot tub, reading on the sofa, sitting on the balcony writing. It was exactly what we needed. Watching bunnies hop around in the opposite field and cows graze while the sun set - priceless.

Amazing stay at field view cottage.

The lovely cottage had everything that we needed. A nice balcony to have morning tea/coffee and breakfast. A lot of cooking equipment which made our live easier. The cottage was very clean and owners are very accommodating and just generally nice people who want you to have an excellent time. The exercise area for our dog was perfect before bed and in the mornings and the hot tub was lovely. The bed was very cosy and comfortable and shower and taps all worked very well. Will definitely be back here to stay next year!

Steph and Chris made  us feel very welcome  were friendly and helpful. thanks for tea, coffee  and Welsh cakes Kai our dog loved it he could not wait to go in enclosed  dog field which was great for him. The cottage was clean, very comfortable and cosy. We enjoyed  the views of the fields, the hot tub was amazing and very well maintained  daily. It was so relaxing and surrounding  area also lovely and about 30mins to the coast hope to return.

Chris and Steph very welcoming when we got there and made a fuss of Opal (dog) quickly showed around and left us to it telling us to knock on if had any questions.

Lovely little cottage with everything you need including some great little extras - tea coffee milk Welsh cakes robes and sliders for when using the hot tub. Very clean and well presented throughout - had everything we needed. Well situated to go and see lots of places with a local shop. Would defo go back!

Nice cottage and hot tub in a good location for seeing Newquay, Aberaeron, Lampeter, Mwnt beach, Brechfa forest etc.

Very friendly new owners - Steph and Chris. Our dog "Bella" loved it too.
