The property

This lovely detached house, 5 Llain Yr Eglwys, is located on the outskirts of Newport, Pembrokeshire.

5 Llain Yr Eglwys is a perfect base for a family of four looking to see wouth Wales as it's located near coastal hikes and beaches in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

You'll be glad to find two off-road parking places upon arrival along with an electric charging point!

Inside, you'll find a tastefully designed open-plan living area with everything you need for a self-catering getaway right at your fingertips.

While sipping on a glass of wine, relax in the beautiful sitting area and chat about your coastal adventures.

After that, head over to the stunning kitchen, which features elegant fixtures and a plethora of equipment; an aspiring chef's dream!

The utility room is located just off the kitchen and has small appliances as well as a convenient washing machine.

When dinner's ready, head to the  dining table to savour a meal together; alternatively, you can make it an outdoor event and enjoy it in the wonderfully landscaped garden.  Spruce up in the cloakroom before moving upstairs to two elegantly decorated bedrooms as the day fades to night.

Choose from a tastefully decorated super king-size or twin room (please request to prepare as a super king-size), both have access to stylish en-suite shower rooms and offer good storage.

Take advantage  of your closeness to the centre of Newport, where various eateries, including The Golden Lion, Castle Inn, Blas at Fronlas and Tides Kitchen & Wine Bar can be found.

Go down to Parrog on the coast and walk across the 'Iron Bridge' to Newport Bay, where you can enjoy a beach with great surf or head to practise your swing at Newport Golf Club before enjoying a meal with a view at the Cat Rock Cafe.

For history buffs, the historic 5500 year old Neolithic Burial Chamber at Pentre Ifan is a must.

Visit Fishguard, another seaside town with lots to do, with picturesque Lower Town which was the location for Gregory Peck's Moby Dick and Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood starring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor!

The town centre hosts the superb Last invasion Tapestry in the Town Hall, telling rhe story of Jemima Nicholas and how her trusty pitchfork helped repel a Napoleanic invasion in 1797!

Cardigan and its castle that hosted the first Welsh Eisiteddfod in 1176 and St Davids with its awe-inspiring cathedral dedicated to Wales' patron saint, are also within easy driving distance, providing even more opportunities to sample this beautiful corner of Wales.
