  • “The cottage inside was absolutely as expected, very clean and comfortable and very very tastefully decorated etc and it was so peaceful.”

Minor issues.....only one toilet roll, no washing up liquid and an old scourer sponge that had seen better days! Outside patio area needed some tlc.

Minor issues.....only one toilet roll, no washing up liquid and an old scourer sponge that had seen better days! Outside patio area needed some tlc. Lovely walk to beaches with our dog. A huge disappointment was that both pubs within walking distance did not let dogs inside! This had been one of our reasons for booking the cottage ..the ability to walk to a pub in the evening for some food and a drink. We drove to The Golden Lion in nearby Newport and they welcomed our dog with open arms!

The property

This very pretty cottage is at the end of a track in a cluster of three, just a short walk from two beaches, Pwllgwaelod and Cwm yr Eglwys on the north Pembrokeshire coast.

Dinas is a 10 minute walk and has two pubs, both of which serve food, a beachside seafood restaurant, fish & chip shop and two general stores.

The seaside town of Newport (known as the pearl of the Pembrokeshire coastline) is just a couple of miles away and offers two beaches, Carningli mountain, a local producers' market, as well as a great selection of eateries, pubs and small shops.

Little Barn is a happy marriage of old and new with characterful rooms decorated in coastal shades and contemporary furnishings throughout.

It makes a perfect getaway for a couple or a small family.

A path leads directly from the cottage to the coastal path where 186 miles of walking awaits.
