“We had a wonderful stay at Llys Aeron, it really is a home from home.”

All the rooms are really well put together and the kitchen diner is a great entertaining area - the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need. Waking up to see the views of the estuary and headland from the double bedrooms was delightful. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Llys Aeron for anyone visiting Pembrokeshire.

This holiday property in Newport, Pembrokeshire, is ideal for families wanting to spend quality time together and is only a short walk to the coast at Parrog.

Four bedrooms and an open-plan living area make this semi-detached property ideal for a family gathering.

You'll be greeted by two off-road parking places before entering the main hallway, which has a traditional tiled floor.

The snug, on your left, is a bright and open space with a sofa and an armchair, and it's a fantastic place to unwind in the evenings with a nice book.

Locate the open-plan living space with a woodburning stove for a rustic atmosphere and a TV to catch up on your favourite shows.

Enjoy mealtimes with family and friends at the dining table, which may be cooked in the well-equipped kitchen with the help of the rangemaster cooker.

All of your culinary needs will be met in this shaker-style kitchen, which includes a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher.

Step outside onto the wide lawn, where there's a BBQ in the enclosed back garden, to provide other cooking options and you relax on the garden chairs while sipping a cold beverage.

As the day fades into night, retreat inside and rinse away any sand from a day at the beach in the ground-floor shower.

Choose from four delightful bedrooms upstairs, including two doubles, an adult's bunk room or a cosy single.

Start your day with a relaxing soak in the family bathroom's roll top tub or a quick shower in the separate shower.

Get better acquainted with your surroundings and explore the town of Newport, which is home to a number of popular eateries including the Golden Lion, the Castle Inn, Blas at Fronlas and Tides Kitchen & Bar Further.

Stretch your leg and venture to the town outskirts to visit the stunning picture postcard perfect Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber, a 5500 year old Neolithic chambered tomb before travelling down the coast to Fishguard, to learn about local heroine Jemima Nicholas and her trusted pitch fork and the 1797 Last Invasion of Mainland Britain Tapestry in the Town Hall.

Take in the gorgeous sights of Lower Town, which was the setting for Hollywood greats Gregory Peck in Moby Dick and Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood.

Further north meanwhile is Cardigan, a charming market town and home toits castle that hosted the first Welsh Eisteddfod in 1176.

Go inland to explore the mythical Preseli Hills - the birthplace of the Stonehenge Preseli Bluestone and walk the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which is on your doorstep!

Consider Llys Aeron for a beautiful Pembrokeshire getaway.
