“A very happy, quiet week was spent in this beautiful coastal part of Wales.”

The only small criticism is that there was nowhere to charge our toothbrushes!

The property

This large stone-built, three storey house on Newport's Parrog, makes a perfect place for a holiday.

From the house there are terrific views over the estuary and towards Newport Sands.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be joined just outside the front door.

Less than a minute's walk away, Parrog beach is a great favourite with children and boating enthusiasts and provides the ideal location from which to enjoy the superb sunsets.

At low tide there are rock pools to investigate and you can cross the estuary to the much larger beach of Newport Sands.

A short walk away is Newport's good selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
