From taking the dogs onto one of the beaches, Newport and Poppit Sands, at least twice a day, to exploring further afield to Broad Haven and Marloes, we had a wonderful time. When we got back late in the afternoon or evening the log burner and Aga were welcome treats and the ability to watch the birds from the bedroom window and the conservatory was perfect. We had a brilliant week and would love to return to the peace and tranquility we found there.

The property

Lovely sea views can be enjoyed from every room in this traditional cottage.

It's just half a mile from National Trust-owned Ceibwr Bay in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

There are some superb walks to be had along this stunning stretch of the Pembrokeshire coast and the coastal bus goes right past the cottage gate, enabling you to walk a different stretch of the path each day.

Nearby is the beautiful beach at Newport Sands and across the estuary, the town of Newport, with its selection of individual shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries. Nevern is 3 miles and has a pub, Norman church and famous Celtic cross.

Poppit Sands, St Dogmaels and Cardigan are all within a 10 minutes drive.
