“Lovely cottage in a lovely area.”

Roger the owner is the perfect host. Helpful and there if needed but not intrusive. Great for people with limited mobility as it is spacious with a sit down shower but good area for the more active with walks from the door and close to the Pembroke coastal path.

“We had a lovely two weeks at Ty Felin.”

The cottage is exactly as pictured, was well provisioned and ideally located near Newport and Newport beach which was a real find. Roger, our host, was very accomodating and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending Ty Felin.

“Beds not the most comfortable, main bedroom a bit dark and dingy.”

Practical house for children and dogs. Great position for walks and coast. No enclosed outside space so small children and dogs need watching

Every thing you required there really enjoyed our stay dog's loved it great place for discovering south west Wales plenty dog friendly beach’s and pubs/restaurants highly recommended will be back the Jones’s and our boy three cocker spaniels #Dougal #Drizzle #Jakey puddles

“Ty felon was in a lovely location lots of walks nearby and in a good central location for exploring.”

Draw back was the very worn out sofa as the seat has gone and they were broken, there was a very unpleasant smell by the fridge and loads of insects in the bathroom. 4 adults went we all slept ok in the beds

“Lovely cottage.”

Plenty of crockery and cutlery. Good equipped kitchen. Good internet and comfortable sofas Beds could do with mattress toppers as lots of springs! I took my own duvet and pillows just because of covid. Bedding and towels were clean. Owner was very friendly and helpful and also allowed us to go in earlier. We would definitely stay there again!

The house is also very close to the hills where it is fun to walk and mountain bike - great for all ages from 7-70!

Hendre Farm Cottages

Sleeping a total of 27 guests. Ty Fferm sleeps 6, Y Felin sleeps 8, Ty Gwartheg sleeps 10 and Ty Cariad sleeps 3. The properties are down a quiet farm track and surround the original farmyard. There is dormitory style bedrooms for the children in the attic spaces making it quite an adventure.

The property

Ty Felin is a wheelchair friendly property.This converted stone barn is situated on a small farm within walking distance of the village of Newport and the beaches of Parrog and Aber Rhigian; both of which are on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Newport is filled with stone and colour washed cottages, making it very picturesque.

There are several pubs, cafes, shops and galleries in the village.

Nestling in at the foot of Carn Ingli mountain overlooking Newport Bay, this property really does occupy a great location.

Available locally are golf, fishing, bike hire, walking, horse riding and boating facilities.
