Catherine “Great holiday.”
The house is lovely and the area is good to explore. The only problem we found was that the cupboards in the kitchen smelt musty. There seems to be a problem with damp in the walls.

Carole “The cottage was comfortable and well equipped.”
It's situation just off a main road, meant it was easy and quick to travel to popular places. It would be useful to have a clothes airer and as the weather was at times inclement which meant the house was cold and towels didn't dry, it would be useful to be able to put the central heating on.
- Carole, August 2020Alice “The house was spacious, nicely presented and really well-equipped.”
It was mostly very clean, although the kitchen cupboards had a strong smell of mildew, possibly because the house hadn't been occupied for several months previously. The bed in the double room was the most comfortable - the mattresses in the twin room and master bedroom were less supportive. The area is great for a family holiday, with lovely sandy beaches and various activities nearby. Being near the A477 there was the background hum of traffic in the garden, but this wasn't a problem inside. All things considered, this was good value for money and we had a great week.
- Alice, July 2020Rachel “Fabulous private and very well equipped cottage.”
Perfectly located for day trips to the local beaches, Broad Haven being our favourite. Massive garden, perfect for our children. Couldn't have asked for more.
- Rachel, July 2020Pam “Two friends were due to share this holiday, one over 70, so in view of corona virus precautions, unfortunately myself I did not go.”
It was to be a ‘birding’ holiday with proximity to Pembrokeshire coast and river estuary. My friend did go, alone. Personally therefore I cannot comment on the property itself but believe it to have been very nice and well equipped. I am asked by my friend to feedback that the garden was a joy. Native trees and particularly ivy much appreciated as great for birds which were in evidence there. Good location for nature lovers, with easy access Stackpole, Bosherston, Stack rocks (if firing at Castlemartin allows!), Angle and the eastern end of the Cleddau estuary etc. A good place to return to but I notice even before Coronavirus that no bookings were to be available from later in the year onwards. Will the property still be available in the future? Sorry can’t be more specific about the house itself, not having seen it. I am however pretty familiar with the area, having spent many many holidays in South Pembs.
- Pam, March 2020Susan “The house felt very welcoming and especially cosy for a Winter stay.”
The property was advertised as having parking for 4 cars, it may be possible to park 4 cars there but the access in and out of the driveway is not easy unless the cars are small. We were using the lane next to the house opposite to turn in and luckily the neighbours didn’t complain about this. Otherwise the property has all the facilities you need for a comfortable family holiday.

Pembroke Dock is a bit closer and offers a good range of shops, as well as a ferry sailing to Ireland which makes an excellent day trip! Some of the best beaches in Wales are within a 20 minute drive - Tenby, Saundersfoot, Amroth, Freshwater East and West and Barafundle Bay.
There are plenty of places to visit including Narberth, Carew Castle, Oakwood Theme Park, Manor House Wildlife Park, Folly Farm, the bird islands of Skomer and Skokholm and Bosherston lily ponds.
