This pretty pink holiday cottage is in the old fishing village and harbour of Lower Town, Fishguard.

The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the quay and slipway, where there are excellent launching facilities for sailors, windsurfers etc. Local fishermen often provide fishing trips for those who wish to catch their supper or you can go and listen to tales of "the one that got away" in the local pub (The Ship Inn).

A walk up the hill leads you to Fishguard town which has a good selection of pubs, eateries, shops and galleries. Newport, St Davids, Porthgain, Strumble Head and Abereiddy are all close by.

The cottage is also ideally situated for the keen walkers (the coastal bus passes through the village) and is close to the beautiful and spectacular Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and the Gwaun Valley.

If you are holidaying with your dog, at low tide the harbour provides ample space for them to enjoy as too does the coastal path and the local Marine Walk which starts at Lower Town and goes on to Goodwick.

Holiday Accommodation

This traditional Welsh stone cottage has been attractively pink-washed.

The entrance door opens into a large LIVING/DINING AREA with welcoming open fire. The SITTING AREA is furnished with a comfortable sofa, easy chairs, flat screen TV, DVD player, nest of tables and occasional furniture. The DINING AREA has a pine dining table, chairs, settle, sideboard and a well-stocked book shelf.

The newly fitted KITCHEN has been well designed with a range of cream Shaker style units and integral appliances electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a full height fridge/freezer and microwave.

The BATHROOM is on the half landing and comprises a suite of white bath with electric shower over, hand basin and WC.

The MASTER BEDROOM contains a king size bed, bedside chests, fitted cupboards and pine furniture.

The SECOND BEDROOM is a family room and is furnished with a double bed and 3' bunk beds.

Bed linen is provided for the beds, all of which have duvets.

Garden and Parking

There is a small courtyard garden with shrubs, flowers and a bench in front of the cottage and a lawned garden and attractive patio to the rear, which is private, sheltered and forms an ideal sun trap.

There is a parking space at the front of the cottage.

Other Information

There is night storage heating on the ground floor and there are electric heaters in the other rooms. Electricity is included in the rental.

A travel cot and highchair are available.

Towels available to hire at £5 per guest.

WiFi enabled.

1 pet welcome but must be kept downstairs.

This property offers an out of season small party discount of 20% off the marked price for breaks taken between November and March. Excluding school holidays.
